It doesn't have to be faster or provide stats even for me, just don't slow me down from current speeds to use it. That's all.

I was just putting out the proper stage props:

The childish, ungrateful gamer and the unresponsive, lazy developer. This way the stage is set for the traditional "threadathon" on new mounts.

Faster runspeeds would have been nice, but I see a bit of the strategy in 40%. I can remember how brutal it was when EVERYONE was flying around in a damn carpet, which I hated the look of from the beginning (even know I used one myself).

I like to see a variety of mounts running around norrath. The new wolf mount, albiet not perfect for my tastes (it did remind of Willow right away), provides more flexibility for peeps.

Hopefully they continue down the line of 40% quested mounts and add in some type of adornments to keep them in a base line with Tiers. In addition, keep the status amounts a bit better than quested as they move along.

I am still holding out for a Rhino mount, until then I will stick with the ever-so-handy bard 56% runspeed (with J-boots).

Why the 10pp tho? Yea its not that much these days, but if they're gonna offer a quest driven 40% mount they should remove the sticker price.

I wouldnt mind getting one for each alt if it was quest only, just looking at someone on a carpet makes my back hurt.

Slap my ass and call me Strange, but I wouldn't really care if it required 10 plat and Epic Mobs.....not from the give me free shit right nows generation (as long as no camp times are involved). Then at least, not everyone and their uncles would be roaming around Norrath in their bad-ass wolf.
