Dipshit it wasn't about the DR. It was about how 2 handers are not scaling, well. And while the DR is not the be all end all of a weapon it is ALWAYS part of its comparison including the damage range and procs. Wow your a fukin tool.

His point was your an idiot. Nobody with a brain cares about what the damage rating says at all. That was made perfectly clear with the OP in this thread. The spear doesnt even compare to the vrak club but it has a higher damage rating because of what? A higher low end of like 40? Who gives a fuck? If you dont have around 20% crits at least, you certantly dont have any idea how to play this game so the low shouldnt even be a concern.

The damage rating is there for noob players to look at and get a small clue of the value of an item. Grast on being a noob Gungo because your too dumb to realize it wont mean shit to an edjucated player.

DR does has value. See i can create random numbers and show spread is not the only meaning to a weapon. How about a weapon with 1-400 damage spread and a 11 sec delay with no proc. It would have a Low DR high spread but Suck ass even with 20% crits.

The point is Delay (and DR) DOES matter. Please stop spewing shit just to hear yourself talk.

P.S. And i would recheck those numbers you posted don't want you to look dumb now do we.

So now you're talking about comparing a 36.5 DR weapon to a weapon with over 100 DR. Btw, 100-140 with a 2.0delay gives a 120 DR. So shut the fuck up. DR is not something you stare at and decide OOH THIS WEAPON HAS MORE DR THAN THAT WEAPON SO IT MUST BE BETTER. No, it's a very small part of the which is the better weapon decision.

Seriously, when people say DR is meaningless, it means given 2 weapons with a DR that is VERY close to each other, which weapon do you go for? You don't go the higher DR weapon every time, you go with the weapon that has the better spread.

Gungo you are a fucking idiot, do you know how DR is calculated? It's simple as can be. (min + max)/delay = DR. Now lets put it into practice; (100 +140)/2 = 120! TADAAA. Okay one more. (1 + 404)/4 = 101.1 TADAAA

DR is calculated by the sum of the damage spread over the delay. It does mean nothing. 2 weapons can have identical DRs and be totally different. The DR has nothing to say about the numbers that made it, and therefore its useless except for keeping weapons somewhat in balance for their tiers
