You might wonder how is this possible? Well thanks to the amazing changes of GU53 you can now SOLO and get a full set of armor that is just barely below the quality of TSO raid armor that requires 24 people to learn a script and execute it, all in hopes of getting 1 piece of armor for 1 person.
Excited yet? I know I am, here are some examples of how amazing this solo gear can be. Dont pvp? It doesnt matter! The tokens are heirloom which means you can transfer them to an alt you just got to level 80, you never have to take that character out of an instance in its life!
A little background on the writ system for players excited about joining Nagafen but not sure where to start. You get a pvp writ (in the form of a quest) that requires you to kill 6 people. You kill those 6 people and get 5 tokens. You cannot get a new writ for 10minutes, 30 tokens an hour. Most people on Nagafen already had a large token pool from pvping for the past 8 months, if you had 1 TSO token you can exchange it for 5 new discord tokens (introduced in GU53) Which means if you had 100 old tokens you now have 500 new tokens. But dont worry! If you are new to the server you can pvp for 2-3 days and have a full suit of amazing armor! Just hit as many AoE's as you can and everybody gets that update!
Here is the ranger pvp armor. Keep in mind you can get this in 3 days time (2 if you try harder) and you never, ever have to group up to get it, this is all solo gear. You can pick whichever piece you want first, you can get the BP or legs first if you want.
Here is the ranger TSO armor. You need 23 people helping you, luck of smart loot and 4 other people competing with you for the piece. The BP and legs drop off some of the hardest instance mobs, you will have to wait for these pieces.
But you might ask, even though that pvp set is a tiny bit worse it is still almost identical to the TSO raid set! Well I would certainly agree, the blue stats are exact copy/paste and the pvp set has more CA damage then the raid set. Sadly on the pvp set you lose a low damage proc and a low damage heal, and you also lose 10 crit bonus but it gets replaced with 10 base CA damage which is pretty much just as good. The pvp set also gives more +damage to shower of arrows and +125 to searing shot, something the raid set doesnt. The pvp set also has less crit mit (60 altogether) but that is enough crit mit for any tank or any dps to survive ALL aoe's in this expansion.
I have maintained a 5 day a week 90% raid attendance the duration of this expansion, it took me over 5 months to get my raid set. It took 23 other people over 5 months to get their raid sets. I love the new changes! Now I can sit in a mass of people, ungrouped, and just AoE and get an entire set of gear that just a tiny bit worse then raid gear! I'll never have to run an instance again, I don't even need to raid! Why would I? The gear is marginal upgrade and I need 23 other people helping me to to it! Should I go to instances? Why would I need to? I can just give my alts a full set of pvp gear and they are just as geared as someone who has been 80 for months! What is the point of playing until the expansion? I have the best gear in the game for no effort! Join Nagafen now!
Here are more examples of amazing solo gear that is equivalent to the best gear in the game! This paladin gear has +taunt amount, guess what that does in pvp? NOTHING!! +aggression lets you land taunts, not taunt amount. Why is that on pvp gear if its intended to only be used in pvp?

Look at the purifer! Are you brawlers sick of having terrible offhands? That weapon has higher damage them your MYTHICAL and the offhand from avatars! And remember you can get it all solo! Amazing, Stupendous, WOW!!!
Afraid that pvp might be to difficult to master solo? Don't worry you are never really alone, take a look here. This is at 10am in kylong plains 2. As long as you hit 1 person of the opposite faction each and every single one of those 100 people will get an update to their writ.
Blue servers come to Nagafen! Are you worried that when the next expansion comes you might fall behind and not be able to get your tanks the crit mit they will need to tank? Well as long as you are on a pvp server your entire raid force can be end game geared the first week of the expansion, isn't that exciting? Think of the possibilities! You can get your BP and legs first! Your alts will be completely end game geared before blue servers even have the chance to get patterns at all! Last but not least I just wanted to take a second to thank the new "PvP" developer Olihin. He has made it so if you play on a pvp server you never, ever have to do PvE again. He completely trivialized everything fyreflyte has ever done. Kudos sir, thanks for completely destroying PvE so we can just gear our entire account of characters out in 2 weeks in endgame gear, all solo, finally all the casuals can stop complaining!
