Non-Crusader Bows?

What makes a bow unusable by a crusader. It is very unsatisfying that many of the bows with Wis or Int are tagged as only usable by scouts and the warrior class. Please fix this so that the Woushi crafted bow, nature's bow of the stalker, and the Wind-shaped bow are usable by crusaders.

If someone could explain what makes these different than the ones classified for crusaders that would also be helpful but I am speculating that these were designed pre-crusader bow use and were overlooked in the change.

It's silly that the Rigid Scale Bow is not usable by crusaders, albiet, i'm not terribly surprised. It's just another thing in a long line of atrocious things done to the crusaders.

no offence to anyone.. but woushi bow should be useable by predators only.. and maybe warriors or bards

Shadowknights don't need bows. Just a 0 sec recast HT that does 300k damage.

Honestly Asasmii what is the difference in a warrior using a bow vs. a crusader using one. We are both plate and can actually pull back the bow (well maybe not pallys). We should share full use of all bows but crusaders should not use throwing weapons and warriors should not be able to use symbols.

The way it is crusaders do not get the full use of any of the ranged weapons as we lack a procing symbol and have to miss out on some of the best bows in the game.

I'll agree that any bow a warrior can use, a crusader should be able to use also. Except for the rigid scale atm. I'm with asamii on that. In its current state its the best bow in the game, tradeable, and pretty easy to get an abundance of. If it were to be extended to any more classes it would just further push the rest of the bows out of the way. They cant really take the warriors off of it now, but until there is a bow better than it (doesnt mean nerf it) I dont think it should be useable by every bow class.

and no dont think the best bow should just be predator only or whatever. I just think its a little ridiculus how the rigid scale so easily trivializes every other bow out there. If it was to be crafted and tradeable like it is now, being how good it is, they could have at least been a little more restrictive on who could use it imo.

If they were to make an avatar bow, upgrade the Star Darkened, or just anything no-trade that isnt a 5 for 1 deal to be a notch above the Rigid Scale then I wouldnt see any reason to not just give the Rigid Scale to everyone.

i just think a warrior should be able to use any weapon, being very versatile in combat situations.. to me, crusaders seem more the type of person to only use basic things for ranged, more hack and slash.. maybe we could give them rocks... rogues seem to be the cloak and DAGGER type, so their bow usage should be limited as well.. and again, bards used bows.. but maybe have them restricted to short bows.. i just feel jipped that any class that can use a bow can out dps me in straight auto attack if they have rigid scale and i dont...

either that, or give rangers (and maybe assassins) extra dmg bonuses to using ranged weps, because it is our specialty..

my whole reasoning is based off of what i think the idea of a class is.. or let me use a tower shield or a 2h wep =-P

i know people wont agree with me, and its understandable, because bows are great, but i just dont want the game to turn into 4 or 5 classes only.. scouts, scouts wearing plate, scouts wearing plate who are kinda like a mage/preist too, mages, and priests

You do realize that Ranger and Assassins have an innate damage bonus to all autoattack, and will therefore hit harder than anyone with any weapon in the game, right?

Of course they do! Just like Rogues have an innate 3% HP buff!
