I remember putting together a x2 raid for the giant, named epic x2 Nightblood in Rivervale, back in the day. We killed it and got nothing.

Yes, this game can be lame sometimes. Sometimes even the named don't drop lewt.

Didn't they used to give more XP? I think I remember back in T6 when DoF was just out leveling off the epic x2's in the zone off Sinking Sands, lots of orcs, fuck knows what the name is now..

I remember them giving shit tons of XP but I could be wrong

The exp change to oranges and reds was changed over a year ago, sorry i dont recall exactly when. But, when DoF came out, yes orange and reds were great exp. i remember 1st day of DoF going and doing all the heroic instances. the exp was great and they were orange and red cons.

Was there not only 1 of each Epic in SS ?
Giant = X2
Dino = x3
Spider = x4

?

Anyways in DoF it was easy to lvl, all you needed to do was to kill heroic mobs, you can't even do that anymore with the same lvl of succes..
So if you ever want to hit 80, I suggest you drop ToS and start doing some quests instead..

most of the old tiered epics still drop wood chests though. but with rares in them. hallelujah tbh
