    Default the impossible deck

Anyone play vs a priest deck where u can't raid, you cant assault, you cant direct damage the person, and you cant cast abilities?

The deck has no creatures and all it does is recycle divine aura, tranq, and disable form the graveyard over and over, completes quests until you loose.

Anyone figure a way to beat it?

For a discard deck you need to assault most times there is 1 card that works w/o assault but it would be slow to make this person discard enough to loose.

(Person name is resichic, possibly best designed deck i have heard about. )

ive seen that deck, its kinda ridiculous but there are ways around it. The guy under the name Kensu uses it and wins probably 95%+ of his games.

I know I got a similar deck low with direct damage cards alone, since there avatar doesnt enter combat it applies the damage. So Sunstrike, shock of fire, orc enforcer, sacrifice and some others that dont come to mind right now.

Also on one side you can have 1 weak unit attack, killing the divine aura then attack with the other side and/or your avatar.

You wanna know whats fucking annoying though, fighter decks with 2-3 final stands out. If they play it right they never have to get rid of them, making there avatar get +2 runes for each one.

Isn't Gambit better than Hallowed Aura? It's cheaper to cast, finishes quests faster, and even has +2 defense which Hallowed Aura does not. Its drawback is it causes 1 damage to you but if you're already playing a priest deck...

To combat the deck, you need Disables. That and protectors can hinder the strategy and if you have enough other cards in your combo (units/attack cards) you can go for the gut.

If you have a quest-rush deck, you can also outquest them usually. They don't generally offer defense against you out-questing them.

There are 3 ways to bring back cards. from the graveyard
Direct damage is blocked by divine aura.
Divine aura doesn't drop unless you atk
But tranqulity means u cant break divine aura w troops atking.
Becuase tranquility prevents troops from atking.
You can direct assault and break divine aura w a few cards and your avatar or use disable and hope he doesn't cast another divine aura since its a hidden castable ability.
Creatures are not needed in this deck and you win by completing quests. You cant really win by questing becuase all this deck does it quest, no troops and it has 4 disables its self.

AND if you take the gnome avatar you can prevent divine aura from breaking by removing your avatar from combat.

This deck dedicates quite a large portion of its cards to defending itself (tranquilities, divine auras, probably intercessions). Since you're trying to out-quest a deck that doesn't attack, you can drop those defense cards. Replace them with cards that will help you win by questing (or that will slow down your opponent's questing) and you should be able to beat them easily.

Or you can kill them by attacking. If they play tranquility, you can disable it. Or just attack them with your avatar. Intercession or divine aura will save them from one attack, but they take two power each time. Plus, if they have tranquility and divine aura, they can only play one hallowed aura/gambit a turn. Disable their tranquility and attack them 2 or 3 times and it won't be long before they run out of ways to stop the damage.

Honestly, if your only goal is to beat a specific deck (and your cards aren't limited), beating them more than half the time is trivial, no matter what deck you're dealing with.
