LoN: Making plat farmers jobs easier!

Booster packs dropping of any random mob is exactly what we didn't need to stop plat farming. What's the best way to get cards to drop? Kill mobs en masse! What do plat farmers do all day every day non-stop automatically? Exactly that.

I love LoN, unusually I even like the card game not just the Loot cards that everyone is obsessed with! I like the idea that boosters drop in game, but perhaps they should think of some kind of anti-plat farmer mechanic for this (limits on time in zone? something weird like that?). On my server the boosters on the broker are all sold by players with curiously unpronounceable names, all with /anon and no house. They're also all 20p+ .

What do you guys think?

The people selling for 10+plat are only stupid as long as it remains on the broker. The second its purchased, the retard spending that much is even stupider.

Its only that expensive now because its new. The novelty will wear off and a "going price" will be established much like masters, rares and gear when an expansion is first released.

I think I'm going to take a gander at the broker and cross-reference with my plat pharmer list, and shut down the opportunists tonight. Fuck them all to hell, these cards are for our pleasure not their take-home pay.

The dropped card packs should be no-trade, no-value, lore, and only tradeable within the LoN client (after you have purchased something to activate the trade feature).

And didn't the devs say that they would not be tradeable in-game (eq2) to prevent exactly this?

The only person I've talked to that has found a pack on our server was a plat farmer. They spent over 4 hours clearing Isle of Desolation, and they found 2 packs. That's two more than anyone else I know.

Why are people who spend 10p on booster packs "retarded"?

You obviously have stated that you don't like LoN and don't care to play it. Fine, you don't need to. But the fact that you don't care about it doesn't make others who do like playing it and want to expand their deck "retards."

People haven't had anything to spend plat on in months, for the most part, dumping some on cards that enables them to enjoy the game more themselves does not make them mentally challenged.
