    Now that they have given portals to the masses druids and sorcerers are useless. Since every encounter in this game is centered around being able to port whats the point of even bringing us along anymore? We have been nerfed into oblivion. This is a slap in the face.

    considering how rare the portal card is (i.e. nobody is going to have a regular supply of them) and considering that it doesnt do anything that can't already be done in game, i dont see a problem with it. who doesn't have a port bitch nowadays anyways? heh, come to think of it, this loot card is pretty damn worthless, roll a druid, lvl up a little, go out and harvest, bingo.

    none of the items are overpowered imo, the vast majority are cosmetic with a very slight combat component. and i mean very slight, like damage shield for 3 hp every time you get hit (worthless) or 100% heal every 24 hours (recast is too long to be of any real worth, if you're going to die anyway chances are a 100% heal won't save your raid force. at best it'll save you some mender fees. woohoo). tbh the closest thing to overpowered ive seen is the mounts, not for the stats but because they're 50% runspeed, look awesome, and don't cost any plat. sure you can get faster, but its a 2% difference, i would go with the one that costs no plat. and even then its not so bad because they have inherent mount limitations (cant go in dungeons etc...)

    given portals to the masses? pffft. loot cards arent that easy to get a hold of ya know. currently ive seen portal cards goin for about 10 boosters. thats $30 for five ports. i dont know about you, but id rather run or roll a port bitch and save myself the money. nobody is going to have a regular supply of portals without paying out the ass.

    So of all the people "complaining" here about loot cards... Are the majority of you people who do not play LoN? The loot cards are not that difficult to attain for those who use their decks well. Get to know the different avatars. I love my Dark Warrior deck.

    Anywho, enjoy the game for what it's worth.

    The portal stone is 5 charges, not unlimited. Hardly call them OP.

    I will say at first I disagreed with this thread. I can see now, after receiving certain LoN loot cards how a certain imbalance is created under very certain circumstances. I am not able to speak for any other classes but my own and my own experience.

    As a necromancer, with lifeburn and the bottled breath (heal 100&#37; once a day, real day not in-game time) can be massive. Given other quested items in the game I am able to let the healer continue focus in the group on everyone else and not myself during a life burn. Given these items, combined with necro drain life spells, combined with bottled breath, makes for a very potent lifeburn. Granted, this is just a single situation it is used.

    Given the bottled breath is only usable once every 24 hours the limitation is great. But when used appropriately provides phenominal opportunity in conjunction with some other things that already exist.
