Yes a friend of mine purchased like $40 in booster pack from the sony website.. he got all the booster packs and opened them and noticed in his paypal account it said payment pending to sony like it alwasy does a week later he gets a payment expired and the money sent back to his paypal account! Basically he got free boosters packs for nothing. And he has sent the money home into his bank account. What you all think about that is soe screwing up like crazy?.

They were purchased with paypal debit card.

I think your friend is going to find out in semi short order that SoE does not make mistakes in the customer's favor when it comes to money transfers, and they will blame him for the error and probably attempt to nail him with a 'we fucked up' fee.

Depending on when your friend created his paypal account (I think the year was 2001 or so), PayPal CAN get their money right from his bank account on file if SOE figures this out.

If the account was pre-2001, then they can only put a negative balance on his paypal account.

I had a charge reversed on something I sold in like 2004 and since my account was made in 1999, they couldnt touch my bank account, thankfully.
