Default Lite Combat Tracker

I have written a log parser for my own purposes really, but I wanted to gauge interest in whether or not other people would want to use it too.

I wrote it specifically because my secondary computer would often lag after large parses and long zones. Lite Combat Tracker is more no-frills and is lighter on features, but can parse smoothly with lesser computer hardware. I also put in a few other features I hadn't seen before, (mob respawn tracker, overheal estimations, stuff like that) but if anyone else has any suggestions for features they'd like to see, let me know!

Also, a big thanks goes out to Aditu for the basic idea of a log parser, and I'd also like to give credit to her for the basic UI design and layout.

So anyway, let me know if you'd like to try it out, and if there's enough of a response, I'll make it available!

Thanks,
-Shinzul

What I need a parser to do is reverse-reference damage; given a name, find out everyone's damage against it. I thought ACT used to do this as part of the main tree without excluding all other data.

I could easily add that as a feature Illuminator. It would be a right click menu on a combatant name. So you'd drill down into an encounter and then right click a name, then click the "See Damage Done to This Target" (or something like that) option which would open a new window displaying who did what type of damage and healing to the target.

He means how much damage did the spell frigid gift (Ice Lash) did from all combatants on a zonewide as opposed to having to go through each person and add up yourself how much damage it did total across everyone.

That would be a sweet feature.

LoL Duracell and Battery in screenshot. Nice.
Anyway, this would be pretty cool, seems laid out and organized enough. Date-stamp is neat IMO for those that don't refresh logs every day.
I'd use it as long as it had the auto-copy and ability to ctrl-V into chats how ACT does, as that's really all I would use majority of time.
Maybe a suggestion based on what I see:
Pie-chart: with < 20 spells/CA's, this is ok, but I think any more than that, having those lines drawn to everything is a little bit messy/cluttered. Basically, IMO I think it's a better idea to try to have the chart drawn in order of % instead of alphabetical order, and have CA's/Spells listed likewise (in %, instead of alphabetical). Better still, have it able to be toggled which was is drawn, and avoid drawing a line to every single slice (some would still like to be able to find spells alphabetically, I'm sure).

Where's DL?

I would like to give it a shot. Would be nice for MMIS timing the repops.

Also can you set it to parse heals?

I'll look into that, but I'm not sure that I'd be able to separate out who's Frigid Gift did how much damage.

I will add a general Buffer Information screen though. You'd be able to see how effective having 2 illusionists on a raid over 1 in terms of Synergism and such. I might consider making a full fledged buff information window that shows how buffs like Illusory Arm and Haste and such affect the raid as a whole.

I'll add the ability to configure which spells you want listed in your outgoing (and incoming) pie charts. I'll also include the ability for people to limit how many spells / CA's get added to the pie chart. The items under the threshold would just get lumped together as Other.

It's great for timing the respawns in tunarian throne on the sentries too. It parses healing, yes.

I don't think he is looking for who did how much damage with it, just how much damage it did total across all people.
