As you may have noticed its hard to sell toons right now ive seen several level 80 toons for bins of around $50 and no one is buying them.. the game is slowly dying and with that who is gonna want and spend money on toons.

Worst part is that it isn't just an average lvl 80 toon we're talking about here and it's embarrassing there's still no offers for a top-end wizard like that. A few months ago that would have been easily 1 grand already.

At least you can finally see what items the toon has (just difficult to determine what his "main" set is). $400 isn't that bad, considering.

No it wouldn't have. The prices have been on the floor since the start of the expansion.
