Just my 2 cents, I just got a Mystic with the Mythical, VP Flagged, Trak Flagged and geared out for a $100 *shrugs* even the best geared out toons with Mythical's and all that won't see for that much anymore

That's like comparing grape juice to wine. Most of Thuger's gear your Mystic will never see, including the Mischief wand. Leveling 1-80 and acquiring a Mythical would probably take someone a month or two, getting a Cane of Trickery would be 1000x more difficult.

Nah for the non experienced maybe i have been leveling my defiler been i think 7 days now and im level 60 but i do 5 box and have my sk,dirge,fury and warlock mentoring him.

Like i said the toon has some sick gear - that wand is very nice. However - thinking you will get 600-700 for it is comedy.

Also - outside of that wand - what "hard to get for hardcore raider" items does he have? I only saw 1 avatar piece - and 1 piece.

And if it was worth that - why is no one bidding on it over 300 or so?

Not to mention if someone was secure about the worth of a toon - they would list it without a reserve and let the market determine its worth. Otherwise you are just fishing for a sucker.

Yea and the closer we move to the new expac the more worthless toons are going to get as stated because of better gear to be gotten. As is right now some mythicals are not as good as some drops.

That's not true either.

Most people would kill for the no-longer-dropping T7 Robe of Battle and I dare say that non-Avatar killing guilds would love ALL of last tiers Avatar gear which cannot be upgraded unless you invest countless hours raiding T8 "hardcore". (Remnants, Chimes, AlKabor, Boots of Balance, etc.)

As far as how many Avatar drops (outside of the wand) Thuger has? I don't know. Their page sucks.

he only has 1 avatar drop - you can go through his gear and check. Yeah avatar stuff is nice - most pieces are never upgraded. But Niber - you fail to see the obvious that the game only has 200k players tops (many of which are multi account from the same user) and the bazaar is the bottom 3 in population. So the market is small and toons are going for very little. I bought a swashy with avatar robe, mythical, etc etc for $150. And others have bought ever better toons for less. WW top 5 toons are going for 200-250, that's the long and short of it. And having killed Avatars - I would not call the time sink 1000x longer than other t8 content. I would say you just need to be in a avatar killing guild (every server has 1-3) and wait your turn. Figure you kill 1-3 avatars a week - for 3 months - that's anywhere from 12-36 avatar drops - which probably translates to 1 avatar drop on average per raider every 3-4 months. Sure it can work out differently - i.e. repeat drops - but it isn't outrageous to see it happen that way.

Also - on the bazaar there are tons of toons with avatar gear and mythical items from previous expansions. Their might be 6-7 cheldrak mythical items on bazaar lol. I know of 11 guardians with the T7 leather avatar boots on bazaar. (My guard has them) Not to mention a few pallies, brawlers, and zerkers. Which is very inflated compared to other non exchange servers.

Shit i hope the market goes back up.. i have about 5 different toons fully geared with mythicals i dont need lol..Thats not counting the 5 toons i box with.
