Reason for Ban: Excessive negativity
You may NOT post or place in a signature any material that attacks or insults others on the forums; or engages in name-calling, harassment, or threats. Furthermore, you may not "troll" the forums. "Trolling" is defined as: Posting with the intent of stirring up trouble or to incite disruption. An example of trolling would be posting to a thread without the intent to provide constructive suggestions or comments and instead making disruptive comments. In general, you may post any material written in a courteous and mature manner, providing that it is on-topic for the forum to which you are posting. This includes material that disagrees with the way that we, the developers, operate the game. We will not interfere with the communication of thoughts and ideas as long as the presentation is constructive and appropriate for all those capable of reading the forum.

Assuming this has to do with the Assassin thread on the LDL board. Didn't see anything in there even remotely close to meriting a ban. The mods seem to be rather anal these days. Seems to me they don't want us actually posting anything on the server boards, because anything that actually generates activity there seems to get beat down with bans and locked threads. God forbid we do anything entertaining.

I've noticed it as well. The current mods are simply amateurs as forum moderators and a bit thin skinned. They just need to be soothed with pictures of kittens and asked about their favorite TV shows, maybe they'll calm down ater a bit.

I understand that some posters are upset about our decision to moderate certain posts and individuals on the Lucan server forum recently, but as can be seen with all the locked and removed threads as well as the posters you apparently know are not with us today, we do not want the discussion to continue. If you wish to complain, you can take it to private messages with the moderation staff, or to other forums/websites that cater more towards the things that would be consider misbehaving on the official forums.

... then again, I shouldn't say anything, as I have as of yet not once gotten a mod message about anything I've written, and I have been controversial before, as much as if not more than Ror in those cited examples..

.. maybe it's cause they saw my myspace pic? ;)
