So, after being in 8+ guilds, on three servers I finally decided to just join my own guild for a while. But I am still happy to help out, or hang with any guild I met along the way, or anyone for that matter. Is that so fucking bad?

I ask because it was pointed out to me that my indecision about guilds, and my joining my own guild with my own alts, AND making pictures like this one:

somehow indicates that I have deep gaming addiction issues and a kiddie-WoW mentality. This is very much true, but there are a lot of other, better, proofs of these things than that. This post here, for example. YAR!

Clearly, I've upset some people. And if I upset a few who were determined to take the time to complain to me then, odds are good that I have upset many.

So! To that end I really am sorry about my guild bullshit to any of those who were effected negatively by it. (Although I do think you need to lighten up a little). Regardless, what has and allways will stand is if you need help on a raid, and I have time, I'll go. If you want a group, and I have time I'll go. If you need a god-damn AA mirror made, or a fucking Epic basket, or 100000000 strong boxes, and I have time, I'll make them. I even know how to RP!

That's not so bad is it? If You People (really referring to a few people but this is EQ2flames, and I thought "You People" would be more inflamatory) hate me so fucking much why do you get so bent out of shape when I leave? hmmmm....

I haven't been in 8 guilds (only 5 here) but when I decide I want to go loner for a while, I pull all of my toons back into my own guild (the Emerald House). All of the toons there are mine except for one.

As to being obsessed with the game... I don't know you so I can't say whether you're obsessed or not. That point aside, I think I'd tell anyone who has an issue with your decisions to "fuck off". If they don't like it... they don't like it. They'll get over it or they won't. *shrugs*

That's actually a picture of Xeather in vampire form. It's part of a longer picture story that I wrote a few years ago.

I posted it because one of my more recent guild leaders sighted it as proof of my WOW mentality. Aparently, youtube videos about EQ2 dwarves singing about little wood elves is ok to him but a woman having a good time seems upsetting. For fuck sake, the goblin enjoyed it.

You pay the bill, you are free to do whatever you want, that's the bottomline. You state you've been in +8 guilds on 3 servers? In what time frame? Maybe you should come to the conclusion that being in a guild is not for you? There's no rule that says you have to be guilded you know. Or maybe you just haven't found the right guild yet?

Enjoy the game /ignore the haters. And maybe it's your class that gets people so upset, i mean who cares when a pally leaves the guild, but a bard.. hmm that must be a kick in the groin for some raid leader..

Yep, can't argue with that. There are a lot of other things that satisfy my attention whore-ness. This post is the least of it, so I don't see "attention" as my purpose here.

It's actually really fucking nice to be here, expressing my thoughts, and being around others who have the courage to do so without holding back.

Being polite, or keeping things quiet can also be a type of mental trap. Fuck that.

This has been in the space of two months. After the first two, the second being the one complaining, I started telling people 1. that I was confused and 2. that I was not sure if I would stay.

So in an effort to spare people futher bullshit from me, I retreated to my own alt guild. And THIS was when I got shit for it and I quote:

If so then, it's actually upgrading my respect level for them. And yes I play that game too, just not as much as EQ2.

Awww.. yeah I'm such a flake. Part of what sent me off on my guild joining confusion was bullshit from a group of people who have stayed under the raidar far too long. I'm pissed off enough at this point that I am gathering screen shots and forming a post for the "Your Guild Sucks" section.

I wouldn't care but there are so many shits like them in MMOs, and I've had it.
