I need to kill the Huntmaster (either named or PH) in Castle Mistmoore and loot a piece off him for my epic weapon update.

I am paying 40p to a group of individuals capable of providing me with this update.

I am not looking for random people willing to come along or whatever, there is no sign-up sheet.

The leader (whoever contacts me) will receive 40p when i loot the drop. If you think it will take you 2 people, 3 people, 12 people, whatever. You get 40p and you can split it with your peeps whichever way you want.

This needs to happen on my time. I can be on 7pm-11pm weeknights (ex. thurs) EST or 7am-whenever on weekends.

If the ring event is not up, or you die, or your tank falls asleep, I don't give the slightest fuck. I am paying for the update. I get update, you get paid. I don't, you don't.

Yay SOE for making us kill a mob that:

1. requires a group just to check if he is up
2. isn't guaranteed to be up when you get there
3. has no reason to ever be killed by ANY class other than defiler
4. can only provide one defiler with the update at a time so the only class actually invested in killing it is elimitated from wanting to group up.

I almost miss camping the fucking "Stormy weather" or whatever mob for claymore...

I dunno, I think the updates that require people to get to the entrance of Venril Sathir's lair are much more annoying. So much can go wrong down there, whether it's your fault or some other group's fault, and the respawn is crazy. The one where you have to kill the necro that's a 2 hour repop down there is probably the worst of them all. At least the others I've seen down there are harvestables with a quick repop.

Meh, the recast debuffs and stuns/stifles are just as annoying at level 80 as they were at 70. I still love the zone though. My favorite to date.

Did this for 2 defilers already with a 5 man group... You can get the update from the PH. Just thought you'd like to know. Cheers.

i am aware of this. which still leaves me 4 people short. so i figure 10p per person is fair. I just rather would hire a crew than separate people.

to Tharinor: I am not sure if you're aware, but something like 10 or more different classes require lower sebilis for their updates, there are tons of groups, i got into all the groups i needed there in the first day of finding out about it. it's also a frequently visited zone for groups, raids and other people that you can tag behind. NO ONE EVER clears the huntmaster area for any reason whatsoever. he has a low spawnrate and drops absolutely garbage.

My complaint isn't really that I have to kill huntmaster. It's that no one else does. If 10 other classes needed huntmaster updates, I would have long ago killed it along with them. There is no difficulty in this kill, only in talking 5 people into repeteadly wasting their time doing a useless zone just to see if the dude for your update is up.

Anyhow, it's not a big issue. Enough people want money, so I'm sure I'll find someone to go. I just think it's a design flaw rather than a reasonable difficulty. One of the nice things about epics is that so many of them intersect, so people end up doing stuff together (i.e. multiple classes need unrest, sebilis, chelsith, maidens, etc.) somehow this update got missed from the big intersection thing.

If I'm on when Thorren's trying to get a group, or anyone else for that matter, I don't mind going back there. It was slightly annoying, but still fun.
And idk, I would scratch the whole plat thing... I asked in level chat for help with this, and quite a bit of people volunteered for no reason. They weren't good friends or guildies and they didn't need it but they came. Yea, some weren't 80 and it was hard and annoying in the beginning.. and even Thorren told me to never start a pick up again if he's coming heh.. but they still came to help and we actually succeeded. I think a random pick up is better than nothing. I wanted the update asap and only got 2 people from my 'vigilance raiding crew' rest were pick up. Was a pain in the ass ((but they came and I really appreciated it)) and it was possible.
