There will be a raid hosted by the mighty Legends of the Tundra on Sunday, April 20. Form up begins at 6:00PM Eastern, with a hopeful start of 6:30 PM Eastern, meeting at the zone in to Sebilis in Kunzar Jungle.
We are raiding a T8 zone – The Protector's Realm.
This raid is being led by Phirra Jal'Acer Stormdragon of The Legends of the Tundra. Levels 79 and above, please.
***This raid is tentative on getting the right class make up and levels. Alternative target is Freethinker's Hideout. Should we attempt this raid, be prepared for a repair bill and be prepared for debt. Very few of us have attempted T8 raiding so this is a learning experience for us as much as it is for you.***
Basic Rules:- Have Ventrilo installed (You don't have to talk, just listen. A basic how-to Ventrilo guide is available at A Total Newbie’s Guide to Using Ventrilo).
- If you sign up, please have the courtesy to let us know if you find later you cannot make it.
- Please assemble for the raid on time. If you are late, we may replace you.
- Don't bitch about loot (loot rules posted at end of information section).
- Don't bitch at the raid leaders. After all, we're doing this for you! Any whining at us will be cause for not being invited on raids in the future.
- Listen to what we're saying, please.
- First slots are open to members of Legends of the Tundra. Any other slots are filled on a first-come first-serve class need basis.
- In-game mail (or tells) should be sent to Sigrdrífa. Please keep in mind that we will accommodate as many requests as possible.
Thank you all! If you have questions, please send Phirra in-game mail, or find her online.
Loot Rules:
Our loot rules are based upon NBG and are not too complicated:
- You are allowed to win one contested item a night. If an item drops that only one person in the raid can use (or wants) then that item does not count as a contested item.
- We would rather see an item used than melted down for adornments as the purpose of these raids is to have fun AND to gather useful gear for the participants. We do ask (but do not require) that if an item isn’t a major upgrade and someone else in the raid could use it more that you defer on rolling for the item. We will not pretend to know what a major upgrade is for you and leave that discretion to the individual.
- In addition to the single contested, we allow for an individual to win a single master (of their class)
- Any masters not desired will be included in the rolls at the end with any items that were not claimed during the raid (if tradable) or any transmuted materials, on a one time roll and followed in descending order to anyone who hasn't won anything yet.
- In the event that the raid leader specifically requests you to bring a specific character instead of one that you wanted to bring, that person can designate that they wish to roll on an item (contingent upon the above statements) for their other character. This can only be done if the other character is parked outside of the zone and can be done with minimal disruption to the raid. This should be a rare occurrence to happen however as there are only a few zones that we are doing where a specific class must be present. We will do all we can to ensure that you can play the character you want to play, but must make sure that we can be effective in the zone as well (i.e., have to have certain classes to be capable of splitting Vyemm and Alzid Prime on Labs runs).
I'll post the roster outline at the LotT website (
Fight Pub - Index), and we'll adjust as necessary. I'll update as people say they're in.
