Default REALLY Unhappy with SOE Customer Service

If you don't see Sigrdrifa, Bonekeeper, or the other members of my house around, it's because my account has been banned.

I've tried reasonable and polite escalation of help tickets, only to have the stupid TSR actually delete the whole thread and lock me out of the temp account I created to try and petition from, after the exchanges below.

Sigrdrifa may not be Snow White, but sheesh! I've never been in any trouble with anyone, ever. I've never been /reported or/petitioned for anything. I may be annoying, but I am also helpful to everyone, in-game and on the forums. I could see a suspension, maybe, while they investigated my refutation. I completely don't understand WHAM-BAN-THANK YEW MA'AM on a first offense. Nevermind that I can prove that absolutely wasn't the one logged in.

Belara kindly sent me a Recruit-a-Friend, so I have "Sigrdrifaaa" starting over completely as a baby paladin. And drinking Tequila Sunrises.

I will not be able to escalate your issue as this decision was made by management based on the very logs you are asking us to review. It was a management decision to have all accounts found exploiting this issue banned, and it was a management decision to not release those accounts at this time.

I'm sorry but I believe you have been misinformed. When I first called in and spoke to CSR William, he went and asked your management about my case, and we were told that I ***would be able to appeal***.



Please, I am insisting that you check again.



I am not saying that something untoward did not happen on my account. I am telling you that I, the account owner, was not the one who did whatever the heck it was, and that in fact if you will look at what IP address was logged in at the time, that can be EASILY discerned.



If you will provide me with the exact date and time you think this infraction occurred, I am pretty sure I can provide you in turn with date-stamped video tape entrance and exit records showing that I was at work in a secure government facility which actively blocks all connections with any game related addresses, including SOE.



I also would like a physical mailing address and the name of the person who is responsible for the decision to ban so that I can send documentary evidence via registered mail.

For some reason, now I can't get into my help thread. I have attached the ticket number at the top of this one for reference.

ACTION REQUESTED:
Please escalate this to a management level support team member. When I called in initially and spoke to CSR William, he actually went and checked with a manager, and I was assured that I would be allowed to appeal.

THE SHORT STORY:
According to What Is My IP Address? - Lookup IP, Hide IP, Change IP, Trace IP and more... my IP address is 66.68.173.151

I am saying that at the times the alleged misconduct occurred, a different IP Address 200 miles away was logging into my account while I was at work.

If you feel it just, take all the shard gear away from my toons... I am pretty sure the only ones that have any are Sigrdrifa, Bonekeeper, and maybe Freydisa.

But please, un-ban my account. I have NEVER had any prior problems with SOE before, I am a dedicated and devoted player, I have been an assett to SOE on the EQ2Players.com forums helping new people for years.

No crafting. I got home from work Friday and blammo.

I ain't Snow White -- I like cyb0r too much -- but I haven't been naughty in terms of exploit.

Sadly enought you as the account holder is responsible for what ever happens on your account, no matter if you sat by the keyboard or not. So be picky on who you leave your info to....

Oh, I agree it's my responsibility. Where I am grumpy is being banned with -- apparently -- no chance of reinstatement when I've never been in any trouble anywhere ever.

I could understand if there was a suspension. Since the issue involved void shards in some way I am still unclear on, I'll reluctantly agree that it would be just to strip all the shard armor from the account, even though I went through a crapton of shard instances and had a bunch of the shard armor before this issue ever arose.

But the ban is hardly a reasonable first step here.

And since it's ridiculously easy to see that the login where the naughtiness occurred is hundreds of miles away from me, that makes it doubly harsh.


EDIT: I also look at -- for example -- Pukalicious and all the crap he did. How many hundreds of times was he reported and petitioned and continued with his crap until he ripped off his guild and fled? I've seen a bunch of other cases with people acting badly who are usually just suspended a few days then back in operation. I am not seeing consistency in reaction from SOE here.

That's my plan for today. The fucktards ALSO deleted my LON account, which I play stand-alone and which seems utterly unreasonable.

So, Kreemy, if I somehow get my LON account back, I have like 27 event passes and I'm trying to get to a point where I can buy a 5 room rentfree house. Do you trade any event passes at all?

Apparently whomever you gave your information to doesn't respect that you don't want these things to be done while they are logged into your account. I would be more angry with them than with sony. SoE specifically states that your login information is for you, and only you, and that you are responsible for anything that goes on regarding your account, even if you give your password out. Really, they are just sticking to their rules in this case. The person who got you banned should be bending over backwards to help you.
