Any other Furies need Orinox?

I have tried over a dozen times and gotten so close. I have bought some new gear and that helped a little. So in an effort to get it today and not a month from now when I have all t2 (I have 4 shards and 3 t2) I was wondering if any other furies are stuck on Orinox on the LDL server. My character's name is Tetriemmy

If you still need this update in about a week, another Fury in my guild will be ready for this update and I am sure would love the company. You won't have to spend a lot of plat for extra things like signets and such, just make sure Karana is your diety and get the 2nd tier miracle that gives you power over time and burn like crazy until you are at 25-30% power then kite him using Wrath of Nature from the Shadows AA tree. Ignore the pet to start with. They will follow your exact steps, so you can run in circles around the cavern. You could root the pet and snare him to be able to stop and nuke once in a while. If your INT is high enough and you do enough damage, Wrath of Nature will do more damage than his regen. Be prepared for a long fight. Equip any regen gear and jewelry you have. You should have to heal very little if you do it this way. Save your emergencies for the very end when you absolutely need them, and do them on the run.

Jesus Christ you are terrible at this game if you can't kill a solo mob from ROK with TSO gear and AA's.

What would you do if you couldn't find someone else to help you?

That is what set Furies apart from other Mythicals, then they nerfed the mob a few months ago. He was a 82 triple up with an 80 pet that stunned for about 10 seconds. Now he is like an 81 single up with 80 pet. Not quite an accomplishment as before

You must understand the class you play. If you spec'd with all AAs going to healing, you are doing you class an injustice. Furies are meant to NUKE THEIR ASS OFF while keeping the group in the green. Just look at the Myth clicky, it adds to heals of others in group/raid. The higher you nuke, the higher the heal/ward bonus. We have shit for buffs, we nuke and heal.

Furies have more than enough AAs to do both. Now, about that mob... I just wound up rooting them both and burning orinox down with thunderbolts and starnovas.

I have 2 specs (Achievement mirror) One is straight dps and the other is a Hybrid set up. I think most of my problem is gear. I have tried to root and nuke method and it just does not work for me.
When I tried melee I could get him down into the red once to 1% until I was stifled and out of power. More AA may not hurt either. I would definitely be willing to help your other fury Pheathers if it means i don't have to wait a month to complete my T2 armor before I can get my myth.

Keep the named rooted and snared, and use Animal Form on the pet if you run low or out of power. Having the improved snare will help a ton because he gets a resist check against your root every tick and it will break a lot. Plus, if you're snare kiting you can use all your spells to burn him down instead of just the 2 big nukes.

I forgot to switch to my solo spec (for improved root/snare), and still had no problem taking him down first time, back in RoK, in RoK Legendary gear.
