For AOEing in warfronts, instances or soloing you basically want too.

cast forked lightning which puts electrified on targets, then you can spam the instant cast air damage aoe lightning field, pretty lulz actually uploading a video now from a recent warfront.

artic blast is definetely better dps then casting forked but has no electrified effect, im sure when i get more spells that take advantage of hypothermia ill use that more.

don't mind some mistakes and i casted thunderbolt a little to much sometimes, one of my first warfields

SC sucks ASS on single target. I need to work on a Pyro build just to see how that soul does on AoE, cause yah, SC needs some serious love on single target.

If I hit pre-buffs and get my electrified and hypo stacked and have some charge to play with on incoming, nobody has been able to touch an SC parse. They own aoe in situations where you've got 4+ mobs (minus raids, dunno about that yet). 3 or less mobs and multiple souls can catch ya.

So here's a rotation to try out to see -- on inc precast hailstorm to get your hypo on, then jump to forked lightening x3 to get your full electrified stack on, then rip lightening x3. There's quite a lot more you can do to push your numbers up further but that should give you a good idea. Also assumes you spec'd right on the soul.

I've been pretty blown away by aoe rogue parses, those boys can up up numbers single target and aoe.

But, to your point, SC does need help on single target, they are worse than bad in that regard.

They don't need help. They can't be godly at all types of dps. They are aoe kings. You want single target, go pyro.

SC is incredibly fun in certain Warfronts (Garden and Codex) because the terrain funnels combat at certain key junctures. Topped a parse on the first time in there with an SC spec.

I still need to see more to know that Sabateur isn't the real AE king though.

I like playing pyro, but the lack of mobility kills the soul for most situations.

Why do you bother getting hypothermia up?

Necro has been giving me better ST results, not too fond of pyro at the moment. Especially with most encounters requiring a lot of moving all the time.

Don't argue with an idiot, first they'll bring you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Rotation for single target is Raging Storm to build three electrified stacks, Ice Shear to apply debuff.

    From there it's:
Ice Shear > Lightning Strike > Lightning Field x5. When Ice Shear has about 3 seconds left casr Forked Lighting to refresh electrify. and repeat from Ice Shear on.

Raging Storm is a decent damage spell so you can work it in like:
3x Forked Lightning* > Ice Shear > Lightning Strike > 3x Lightning Field > Raging Storm > Ice Shear > Lightning Strike > 5x Lightning Field

    * Once you have the 3 stacks of electrify you only need to cast Forked Lightning once to refresh the 3 stacks.

If you have more then 400 Spell Power, Forked Lightning is more damage then Thunderbolt even though the Tooltip says otherwise (The spell efficient on Thunderbolt is 27% while Forked Lightning is 34%).

Rotation for multiple targets (Use if there are 2 or more targets. Trash packs in dungeons are perfect):

Lightning Storm > (Lightning Field > Forked Lightning x3) Repeat until Lightning Storm is off CD or until everything is dead. If there are 2 targets you can cast Lightning Field twice and refresh Electrify with 2 Forked Lightning.

Use Static Flux when around 90+ charge, and Intensify Elements and Static Discharge on CD.
