Rigid Scale Bow

I saw one of these on the broker the other day, and I got a chubby. Unfortunately, I don't have anywhere near the 350pp that it was selling for. I asked around and figured out its a crafted bow and the recipe comes off of wuoshi, so there is no chance of me ever getting that recipe with my friends (at least not until we get to lvl 80). So, I figured, what the hell, I might as well ask here and see if there is anyone willing to make me one on the cheap.

Any takers? Please let me know. I've been known to perform strange acts for buffs, so there's no telling what you could get me to do for one of those bows.

BTW, what raws does it take to make that thing?

I doubt they'd use a scale for someone outside the guild unless NOBODY (alts included) needs one, it's a damn nice bow, they're not gonna craft one for an outsider, no offense.

I figured since it was a recipe, they could craft as many as they wanted. And why would I take offense at that? Unless I just get offended that someone from unrest server is reading our forum. But I'm inclined to let that pass, so no worries.

The Bow recipe you're referring to is a limited recipe like the "bartending for Sadists" in Unrest. You can craft only 5 Bows for each recipe book that you get from killing Wuoshi. Now, that being said, you also need a "scale" for the combine that is a random drop off of trash in 3rd floor EH.

So, its not like its a one shot deal where u get the recipe on a crafter and *bam* they can produce as many as they want. It's quite limited.

If you really want the bow, you have 3 options:
1. Try to convince the seller to lower teh price (not very likely)
2. Join a raiding guild that raids EH, and wait in line
3. Buy the 350p from a farmer and pick it up off broker.

I think because of the rarity of itms like this it keeps certain items in the hands of the raiders and not the casual players. Which has value imo. Why would I work hard raiding if i could just make my list-o-gear, buy some PP and deck myself out. Some things just need to be worked for.

I got one from my guild for my alt SK, and the damn thing hits for over 2500 damage consistently. I've never been in love with an item before, until now.

Ahh, OK thanks for the info jarek. You're allright. I don't care what the rest of them say about ya.

The most likely option for me is #4. Wait till the people I raid with hit 80 and get decently geared out .... then convince them to hit EH.

Oughta be able to do something like that early next year.

If that happens, you will be better off getting a T8 bow that will be better than the Rigid Scale Bow.

Actually, that's why we are selling them on broker. Everyone who wants one, has one of these or one from the 2 Mayongs.

Sorry man. I doubt we'll drop that price much, since we've gotten more then this already for them. There are a lot of people who are loaded with cash or guilds behind them with a bankroll who pay that kind of money. Like Jarek said, you can make 5 per recipe and we've gotten more then we need. Now we use them to fund our guild splits. It's nothing personal at all...

I dunno, *rubs chin* just seems way to much to spend on one bow but it is a nice bow...hmmm should I buy a bow or shouldn't I that is the question.
