Who all is going to vanguard from mistmoore? I was seriously considering coming back to EQ 2 and then well I randomly was looking at upcoming games and saw it was coming out and remembered I preordered the special edition like a year ago...so now its vanguard grind. (It looks like the shit)

I'd like to give it a try, but seeing as how on a raid with extremely low graphics, AIM, ACT parser, and Ares (downloading pr0n most of the time) all running at the same time gives my computer a heart attack... I heard that VG would probably give it a.. well, something worse than a heart attack, perhaps a severe bladder infection couped with a mild case of herpes.

Has anyone else heard the "recommended" system specs for running the game smoothly? I don't like the sound of my computer contracting herpes and bladder infections.

Well, I can't help you with the "recommended" settings, as I have not played in the beta (gamespot is fucking queers and told me they are getting thingy on the 27th, and yes, I know what you are wondering "Wait doesnt the beta end on the 23rd?" the answer is yes.") but I have seen pictures from what seems to be it, and well, it looks as if it would run smoothly.

It's not as bad as a lot of people say (PC stress wise), and I say this not being a VG Fanboi either. I can run EQ2 and VG at the same time with no problems on my PC.

There is a shit-ton of lag in the starting areas cause there are a ton of people, but it didn't run that bad at all.

To answer the OP though, I think I am going to play casually since it only costs me the price of the box (being as though I have station access)

YEah I can play on highest quality, it really isnt that much worse then eq2. Of course I just got a new machine.
