It's amusing how the topic of this thread is still appropriate post-nerf, just not in the same way.

Either way it works on anything now, so even if its not a 200k hit it still is better than not working period other than regular mobs.

Since it WAS 1% of epic, unless you are fighting an epic with 20000k hp, we are not going to deal 200k damage.

There are several epics w over a 3million hitpoints, a 20k hit would be fine. but i don't expect we will get that. I am expecting a weak harmtouch of like 2-3k. basically worthless if you are stifled for 10secs. It will mean you will end up w less dps then if u didn't cast it =p.

It was a figure of speech about the 200k I'm just saying stop bitching its a decent spell now, just got off test and on epics i was doing 7k-10k so it is really reasonable, not overpowered and not useless, just craneflock along with CoB and then hit dev fist and your dps wont be hurt by the stifle and we wont shoot up the aggro list and die as fast as a 20K hit or something.

It's not decent, it's stupid. Moreover, I have been on test server 5 minutes ago. It's not changed. I have no idea where you get the update DF. It's still 1% of epic hp on test server.

It's also lame to worry if DF did too much damage to out taunt and die fast. If you really worry about it, don't use it then. Same issue happened day and night on wiz mana burn and nec life burn. That's why there are good and bad players.

and whats stupid on an 8-10K hit on an epic?? Further more if you want a bigger hit play a class that has it, be happy that we can use the thing next GU, if your not happy with it, tough, some of us will be, it will be a nice little hit right at the end to spike our dps a hair.

How do you know nerfed DF will be 8-10k per hit on epic? It's not update on test server. End of story.

You can't always go by spell description on test.

I can live w a 10k non crit hit.
7k - adds 38.8 dps
20k- adds 111 dps

I will be happy w a 10k base epic hit. add in debuffs and crits and it will be worth it.

I want 20k scaling to 25k or even more, this skill should hit in the lifeburn manaburn area. Its got 10 sec penalty and 30 second immunity.
