In general you shouldn't attempt to address developrs directly regardless of the forum because you likely won't get a response. If you do however insist on addressing a developer at least spell their name right

Sorry, I would have fixed it if I had editing rights.

I hope that you will still look at this monk issue even though one monk doesn't know how to spell right.

/toss bone

I was a healer in t5, I wouldn't of known what to do as a Brawler with epic stuns/stifles - must of been some fun times!

I would prolly creme myslef if I could do any of those things on Epics with my Monk now.

I do remeber our guild monk had crazy avoid gear and our mt guard having 100% avoid back then.

Apparently you shouldn't PM developers asking them anything about game mechanics because they just overlook it and move on.

while you are fixing the monk silent palm can you take a look at the zerker skill demolish the stun was changed to a shitty stiffle and the duration reduce to half of what it was, of course leaving the same rediculously high power cost.

I don't think he's going to look at the issue, because I spelled his name incorrectly. Many apologies to my fellow monks for preventing our class specific ability from being fixed.

Damn you eq2brawler!! You are now personally responsible for the monk class's problems. I hate you!

But seriously, since obviously Aeralik has glanced at the thread at least once, I would like to ask him to look at returning our ability to stun epics. Even if it is just two CA's I think it would help us get in raids. Its at least better for us than the Dev fist change (only talking about the vs epics portion). I would almost give up my other complaints for that. Except uncontested avoidance of course.

With DOF they reduced the duration to 8 seconds and then made it not work on epics and never bothered to make the spell not suck for damage. Like it has been said before this spell needs a revamp, either increased damage or something.
This is exactly the problem with the ability, and with a LOT of spells/abilities in the game. Game mechanics changed, but they kept the ability nearly the same way as before.

Honestly, I think it's high time they went and did an overhaul of all the classes abilities and looked at each of them to see what they do and how they interact with the mechanics 38 Game Updates later.

Hopefully that's what we'll be getting with the Spell Consolidation... altered abilities and additional abilities that make more sense.

As for Silent Palm.... how to make it more viable compared to other lvl 50/70 special abilities?

I'd make it a Blue AE, up to 8 targets, and did double the current damage at 70 while ALSO silencing them.

And this is coming from a Bruiser.

Most of the Brawler AA's are very similar... a LOT of them have the same cast/recast even, and the others do same DPS just faster recast on Monks.

This one, and the overabundance of Haste is what put Monks at an ever further disadvantage.

What's crazy is Bruisers are getting their +DPS buff knocked out, but Monks are keeping all their crazy haste. Go figure.

How about also fixing the Monk 7 piece fabled effect. Even if it was working, which it isn't, it would still be horrible for us.
