Matron pants is over rated. Extra 13-14 damage on every CA isn't a big deal. By parsing, it's about 8-10 dps ZW.

If I can't get 120+ dps in raid constantly, I think extra 3 dps mod is better than matron pants.

The Matron pants are OK ... and do a little more damage than that when fully buffed, but I think it is still less than 1% of my ZW. However, if the mod on the FL is really only +3 DPS, then it probably ends up adding less than the Matron Pants.

And excuse a potentially noobish question, but what are the Viswin pants?

If i remeber correctly, it's 1% critical on the Viswin pants.

Hmm I've been asking guildies since about week 2 of EOF to help me get Viswin's pants, never got them.

Oh well. And if I didn't have the Battlerager hat I would probably use that +2 melee crit hat from SOF.

Even you have battlerager, as a monk, why even bother to get more haste in the raid? Any raiding monk should have 130+ with self haste buff in raid. Not to say, you can get more from group.

Now, is 3.3 double attack better than 2% critical? I will take 2% critical imo.

I think 3.3 double attack plus the haste (which, while very minor in effect, does still have a positive effect on dps) would be better. Sadly I don't have that hat, so I'm using the SoF thang.

Not to mention the str and hp on the battlerager is vastly superior. When it adds up battlerager wins.

Anyhow with adorns the 5 dps ring, crafted ring, earring, and pants I am popping up to 100 dps mod solo now and it just gets better in groups, fucking sweet.

Yeah I definately prefer the 3.3% double attack over the 2% melee crit. Yeah Blanka I'm excited, seems we are getting more dps gear over time and with ROK ahead we might just be able to get over 130 haste and dps solo hehe wooot. I forgot if I read anything about this, but is the cap for haste and dps going up? I'm guessing it will along with stats and skills.
