Altruism broken

Posted this on the bruiser forums, repositing here.

Altruism is bugged. It will proc alongside other life saving buffs, such as a guardian's exploding heart, causing both procs to take effect. This was never like this before and I have noticed it several times since the expansion went live. please /bug report this is you use altruism.

I use it, gives the class some utility!

And I never put it on the MT, I toss it on the MT Defiler so if she ever needs to preward she doesn't go splat.

I respecced for it while learning the new raid zones. Stopped one wipe so utility ftw. Itll be nice when I can go back to solo spec though heh two points in defense makes me sad.

Does anyone know if this bug is fixed? I'm thinking about taking it, since the only alternative for dps/utility is 3 in mantis bolt.

whats yer ap spec? i ran out of points pretty easy going agi 488/wiz 44862/int44872. best solo/dps combo i could find. tried altruism out once, no one liked it, they would die then wonder wtf happened cuz they dont have fd themselves

4/4/8 agi 4/4/8/8/2 wis 4/4/8 int. I'm talking for a raid spec, and I just don't like messin with the whole low health thing to get the eagle shriek. To many aoes and healer procs etc that make your health too high or too low (0).

you realize that spec only uses 59 AP right? leaving you with another 11 to do whatever you want. you still have enough points to max it out either way lol. either that or you could put points into baton flurry to 8 (which i really would do, its such a big boost), and one of your other 2 abilities to 8, then do whatever. i just cant find any better bang for the buck than my listed spec though for my play style tbh

I realize that, that's why I was saying that I'm either going to take altruism or put the points in something else for a dps/utility build....

I don't want to raise baton flurry because my casting times work out better at 4 for my typical attack speed.
