Well the OP wanted to know about tank specs so i dont see whats wrong with 8 points in HP's, as it stands if i put all my defensive gear on and set myself up right for a raid i get over 17k hps. I Put only 7 in baton flurry because i was testing it(at 4 points, then 5, then 6, then 7, then i ran outta extra points :/) The stun AoE is nice, but its seriously lacking in damage. Maxing for 3 seconds just doesnt seem worth the extra points either.

If i was going to respec myself 1 more time i'd probably take the one point out of crane sweep and give it to baton flurry as well, but for now im out of card charges and im not paying 10p to respec myself for a while.

You're an idiot.

You have the best +avoidance skill, but you are lacking on the AE aggro without crane flock/crane twirl/crane sweep.

While you will avoid ~1.5% better than a Wisdom spec, when you do get hit you have less HP and you can't keep AE aggro like a Wisdom spec.

do i gotta keep telling you how 2 play ur class. First off, I agree crane flock is great, but your ignorant if you think its worth it to waste the other 22aa's just for a 3 minute cooldown ability. Second, AE aggro? Are you fucking kidding me, crane twirl and crane sweep are NOT gonna help you at all get the mob off a warlock or mad ranger. If your having trouble holding multiple aggro against any other class, learn how to taunt imo. And last, lol you actually rate Hp above avoidance? Man you need to learn some simple math. 1.5%? What are you staring at the total avoidance number in your persona? Guy thats not how it works, that number doesnt mean shit. The only thing that matters is your avoidance skill compared to their offensive skill. If your sporting 50 more points of said avoidance skill over their offensive skill. That is equal to being 10 levels higher. Immediately with 8 points in any avoidance AA, your gaining what, 15+ points? Think about it like fighting a green con mob, thats how your gonna avoid. That big number your staring at doesnt mean shit, its just a general average to give you an idea of how your avoidance measures up. For every extra deflect your making with AAs in deflection, is gonna be around 2k+ dmg on any mob your fighting in RoK. If you got 10k hp striaght up, 8 % hp isnt even gonna add up to half that dmg.

Please. PLEASE.

Space out your post, the wall of text just hurts to read.

Sorry, but that is not exactly how avoidance works. Heroics and Epics gain increasingly larger hit bonuses the stronger they are. That avoidance you listed is how it works for no arrow mobs and is spot on. Versus stronger content that flat +skill avoidance boosts are contested, the stronger the mob, the more contested the avoidance.

As for aggro? Nothing in the Stamina line will help you maintain aggro. If you are losing single target aggro and/or want to talk about the benefits of Mantis Bolt to help hold aggro, you lose. If you cannot keep single target aggro you fail.

AE aggro is where brawlers have problems when tanking. Guess what? You said the only line that increases AE aggro sucks. Crane Twirl provides much more hate per second than your AE taunt, to everything around you, not just to the encounter you are targeting, but to every mob within range. Then using Crane Flock will net you more AE, true blue type AE, aggro than any other ability.

Going by your suggestion of why that is the best tank spec, you didn't even give it for your reasoning.

Strength line, specifically Str4, gives you much more avoidance, uncontested even, than any of the other lines, making it a better choice than any of the other lines for tanking in your reasoning.

I would agree, Str/Agi/Int would be the best at avoiding taking damage. It would be the best tanking set up period. If the Strength line was fixed to be usable in practical situations.
