Default Ok a lil bit of a rant here

Here is what i have to this day never understood about AA lines espically brawler. No clearcut defined way to go as of what style of play you want to be. Why cant there be a few clearcut lines as of dps and tanking not his mismatch mess of crap we have now. Soe could of made 5 lines defined and clearcut for use. Have 2 clearcut tanking line 2 clearcut dps lines and one utility. For the lines idea to work you would have to jump up to 75AA for the kos side but meh this is just a dream.

Like here is the breakdown of the line

Str= Dps crits
Int= Dps AOE
Wis=utility
Agi=tanking avoidance
Sta=tanking durability

Keep the str line debuff here as its a good dps ca i wish i had on my monks dps build. the third item would be crits as they are in the current int line. the fourth item would be a base double attack not to high but something worthwhile 1.5% per point. Then keep chi as is and put it as the line ender.

Int line would be alsmot exacty as the wis line is now minus one thing. Move the AOE proc to number 4 on the line and remove the health bonus. So the third item in the line would be a weapons mastery ability. Plus .5% mastery skill per point so if you are running 400 crushing and have 8 points in the skill you have a plus 4% skill or what works out to plus 16 crushing which is on par with the end line mastery abilities of the scouts . and end out the line with crane flock

Wis line would be the utility line. Take the first 2 items from the existing agi line and put them here . then item number 4 would be a plus parry skill. this is kinda a hybrid line so it would benifit both the pure tanks and pure dps builds. And to finish out the line you put altrusim here.

Sta line woudl be the general health/mit line and would be based more on survivability. Eagle spin would be the second line item for the tank build but have a small ago generator attached to it also. item number 3 would be a mit boost of 3% per point to give the brawler more mit when needed. Then nuber 4 would be the base life enhance similar to the current wis line life but double the life gained. End line here would be the current int line end item.

Agi would be the avoidance/agro line. the second line item would be the current debuff throw that is on the sta line. the third line item would be an enhance agro stance. Now here i am not sure where the numbers would have to be to make it so that the brawler can hold a mob at much lower dps. Then item number 4 is the uncontested avoidance spot and 1.5% per point reposte is fair for here. The end line item here though would be a new one. Master avoidance is the last item i would have here. it gives you a plus 15 deflection, and 15 defense at level 80.

This to me makes much more sense and i dont get why for the life of me soe doesnt do something like this. You could make a pure dps build with the str int wis or a pure tank with the wis agi sta or somekind of utility hybrid as maybe use the 2 tank lines and the str line if you are going up against alot fo single target mobs tanking ect. This would allow the brawler to chose their path and be the class they want to be not force them into hybrid bleh. I know i may get cheered or flamed but as is life

They won't do it because every fighter line is set up:

Stat1 = Stat boost
Stat2 = CA/Spell
Stat3 = DPS Ability, Passive or Buff
Stat4 = Defensive Ability, Passive
Stat5 = Defensive or DPS Ability Passive or Click to activate Ability

So every Fighter AA line, actually EVERY AA line for every class, is a hybrid defensive/offensive line.

I know pagan ..... personally i think the AA lines for ALL classes are messed up as it doesnt allow really for a strong build one way or another. I really think as a whole soe really dropped the ball on them and could of made it something really meaningful and made a more unique feel to classes.

I agree with you 100% Mimn. It would be nice as a monk to get out of the hybrid typecast when you want/need to. I like tanking with my monk a lot, and it seems like there isn't much help along the lines of AAs to fix our current problems when it comes to tanking. And as far as the other fighters go, they are already good tanks, and their AAs only give them better utility, whereas with brawlers we have to be damn good players with damn good groups to even consider tanking hard mobs. And don't even get me started on Epics...

I agree. I think they kinda failed in their efforts to use AAs to create some idividualism in character builds. Tank builds versus DPS builds (plus a utility line) would really be the way to go.
