There are many group setups in which we can easily run 550ish crush, and about 15 less pierce/slash - with very basic gear - all of these give us plenty of melee skill (in offensive), agreed. But, given my druthers I will take the crushing weapon and the extra skill every time.

Unless, of course I have to give upsomething else for it. I can only assume you are talking about the ayr stone, which could certainly be argued for - especially if you are having surviveability issues (and run TV on the MT.)

I am curious about why you would use a "think about" line tho lol... throwing hints. If you have an opinion, state it. Then the rest of us can consider it without playing guessing games.

Mainly because I wanted to see if people knew what was going on. You'd be entirely surprised at how many brawlers don't think about adornment choices and possibilities that they open up, that only +skill and weapon type is important.

The 3% Riposte adornment puts slashing weapons far ahead, even if you are only DPS and not tanking due to as you said TV on the MT or OT is more powerful than the tank themselves using their avoidance buff.

Usually I run in Hybrid and am sitting at around 530-540 on skills depending upon gear, mainly because the extra skills don't matter hit percentage wise, either the mob is yellow and is debuffed so thoroughly that hit rate is over 95% either way or the mob is orange and hit rate is below 80% and above 70% either way including CA hit rates for both.

The extra bit of uncontested avoidance I can lend with TV is more important than a miniscule increase to my hit rate.
