I'm just gonna say it once: Devs TEST YOUR FUCKING STUFF BETTER BEFORE YOU PUT IT IN GAME.

It REALLY, REALLY sucks to have an excellent ability or weapon get nerfed this badly. It is far worse to have it and have it taken away than it is to never have it at all.

Two at once is worse still. If you're gonna bend us over and fuck us up the ass, at least have the decency to use some lube.

I'm not sure how much effect this will have on the mythical as I don't raid, but how often does the mob dodge compared to parry, riposte, block and deflect? I'm interested becuase for us (monks) we only actually dodge a very small amount compared to the other avoidance checks.

Also it could just be the first step in fixing the melee hit rates that seem to be having problems.

Mobs have 360 Dodge, while Riposte, Parry, and Block are frontal only on non-brawler mobs. Brawler mobs have 360 Parry, Dodge, and Deflect, with frontal Riposte.

If Pinski is correct, then strikethrough is totally useless when you attack mob from back on non-brawler mobs.

Basically, it's a trash skill after nerfing.

For example, fighting phara dar, my auto attack hit ratio is 60% without mythical epic. 100% missed attacks were dodge since I stayed at back of phara dar.

Grats to those bitching monks that strikethrough is overpowered. Now, we get zero extra hit ratio when fighting mobs from back unless it's a brawler type mob.

You monks have one chance to stop this nerf. The open test server is unlocked right now. Use the command '/testcopy add' to copy your main to the open test server to /feedback any and all changes. Open test is also running the PvP rule set so you can can see everything stacks up against other player characters.

Bah sorry, I completely forgot about brawlers being teh only classes to get parry etc. 360 degrees. Yeah ok the change completely sucks.

I can't get on to test unfortunately, no hard drive space to spare

Well we can always hope the devolpers listen to us.

Motu: Hello, In the current form the Monk mythical is great, but after the incoming nerf it is going to loose what we thought was so great. Why was strikethough changed, is there any way for us to change your mind? Will other parts of the weapon be improved?
  • Lyndro: Ok I know lots of people want to know specifics about their epics. However there are lots of general questions that need to be answered, covering questions issues with 24 epic weapons would quickly rule the chat.
  • Lyndro: That being said nothing is ever set in stone... That is part of the joy of working on a MMO.
