When SOE "fixes" something, it generally means, "We are going to make right what you want, but let it be known that we will nerf the living fuck out of you to basically make you the same overall as you were before. Grats."

It really depends on which dev is swinging the nerfbat.

Since aeralik plays an assassin, he obviously nerfed rangers when they asked to be fixed.

For example :
If we ask him to be fixed because bruisers are more wanted on raids, I'm sure he'll nerf bruisers and leave us broken.

Not saying we're broken or something, I don't know about the current state of monks.

Well, tbh, it's not that monks are broken as much as it is that plates are OP...we have a lot harder time tanking mobs because our mit is shit. They can get same avoidance as us, but 30% more mit too. It's just not fair.

Guardians have 5k mit and 81% avoidance on raids. What do you expect.

not sure why this suprises you due to the fact that rothgar plays a guardian for paradigm on unrest. just "happened" that guardians pulled away far far ahead of every other tank class with their mythicals ;p. must have been pure luck
