Does anyone know how this is affected by your mythical though? Wouldn't it be beneficial with Strikethrough to stand up with the tank, unless there are frontal's that would hit you?

Also, I don't usually use Full Moon unless my CA's are all refreshing (or unless it's a multi-mob encounter...which are few and far b/t in VP). When using the ACT auto-attk timer I see that Full Moon has a long casting time and I actually loose out on auto attks & CA's using it.

Well, I haven't been playing since right before ROK so I hadn't bothered to check the stats on the Mythical. I really shouldn't even be giving any input and I generally steer clear of it unless it's something I pretty much know I can't flubber up.

Strikethrough from what I got out of it on Xanadu would be a GREAT buff when in def stance. Probably something they threw in for us since we've been envious of the Warrior's AA that keeps them getting negative benefits in there 2 stances.

Even with the 50% chance, unless I'm expected to be grabbing agro during a mem wipe or something, I'd be sitting in the rear. If nothing else just to prevent painfull x4 level ripostes. Even if the chances are cut in half....

I have however been known to step on the MT's toes when I fire up Craneflock just to make sure I'm within range of as many mobs as possible.

Strikethrough only works on parry/block, which only work from the front. So the mob has a 0% chance to parry/block if you are behind them, and you have a 50% to hit through it in front of them. You definitely come out standing behind in terms of hit rate. The only caveat is brawler mobs which can parry in a 360 circle. In that case, Strikethrough will help behind a mob too.

This might of already been said but i highly suggest, hitting crane flock than dev fisting ( especially in raid ) the crane flock makes up for the loss of dps because of the stun plus sometimes when you hit crane flock and see five rings or other abilities up, people tend to hit them which usually results in less dps. And of course hit tsunami first if you think your going to get agro or have agro.

Any decent monk should have an idea of how to time their ca's around their auto-attack. Doing so with result in no loss of dps while using them while crane flock is active.

You can easily time the ca's while crane flock is up... nothing different than timing auto attacks.
