I am using a 74 monk to bring up my 52 Illusionist. Basically buffing, and IA-ing the Monk. I have IA in the monk and my current routine is to intitiate the encounter with the monk, do an HO, auto-attack, switch to the illus, then stun stifle and nuke away. If I get into trouble Mezz. Mainly I switch to the chanter to keep my skills up....cause chicks dig guys with skillz.

I dont know fuck-all about Monks. The monk I'm using is T7 fabeled & T8 Legendary. Afriend of mine has left the game and is letting me use the account for a while.

What advice can you guys give me about stances, CA's and strats. I know about the group feign and I've found his heal. Are there couple of "Must Know" pearls of wisdom? Are there a couple of CA's I should be doing everytime?

To be honest with you dude, buff the monk and put the illy on AF, T7 fabled monk can handle the T6 and T7 zones by himself, it will be a hell of a lot quicker lvling the illy like that, check out the link posted above and you'll be smacking ^^^ with no probs.

yea pretty much what niezo said is true lol. i PL my buddy sometimes on his paladin if he ever feels like playing (which he doesnt do much), and when we go out and do stuff typically its just me pwning shit while he follows me around keeping me above 0% but under 30% hp doing dps and tossing wards and heals from time to time as i need them, which isnt often. so far we have duoed every single instance in half the time it takes a group to do it in in t6, and a good chunk of SoS as he is now 65. monk is a really powerul solo character, but with an illu its just going to be fucking insane. best tip i can give you is haste yourself IA yourself, pull shit, and just have the illu pet with tandem attack shit and play the monk. will go very well that way, espescially since i have found that the pet can pratically solo any ^^^ heroic encounter on its own due to its crowd control ability using TC. just for the record, i do have an illy as well as a monk. havent dual boxed them (Same account) but i do the same idea with my paladin from time to time. works amazingly well
