Levle 80 Monk with 125 AA's.

First, love my Monk as fits my play style- Limited time and solo alot.

However, really like to know what a non-raid monk at this level should be able to solo?

Have tried the Drolvarg (74 3 up heroic) in KC and they kick my tail pretty much.

My spec is pretty cookie cutter and like to think I know how to play hte class.

Any how just wondering??

Unfortunately the mobs in RoK hit pretty hard and have a good chunk of hp. Brawlers are extremely gear dependent so try to pick up as much of the stun/daze/stifle proccing gear as you can. Also items/adorns that proc heals. I'm not sure if you are doing it for income but farming shinies is a pretty safe bet regardless of gear.

I would bet with some practice and proper gear selection you should be able to kill some KC mobs. Just keep pushing yourself and find what works and what doesn't. Any control immune mobs are going to present a real challenge however.

You should betray to bruiser, you'll be able to take out quite a few of the named in there if you do with the same gear/aa's. Play wise there's nothing different really.

If you can't do it on a monk. You wont be able to do it on a brusier. Its about gear selection.

I solo'd Xylgoz or w/e at the bottom of KC to 10% 3 times in the same fight trying to click the fuckin things but its pretty much impossible solo.

So you should be able to kill most if not all nameds in KC.

Time stuns. Play smart. Practice

i disagree .. bruisers have a large advantage with knockout combo and a little more burst damage.

You can properly gear yourself for soloing without ever stepping foot in a raid zone. Knowledge is power and gaining that first drives out all stupidity that surrounds lies that come out of peoples mouths.

If all you do is group and solo, betray to Bruiser take that from someone who knows both inside out because i have been both. That is from a non-raider and a HC raider point of view. Fact is you will be able to take out stuff that isn't possible with your current gear as a Bruiser that you can not as a Monk. Also goes without saying that anything you can kill as a Monk will be a ton easier as a Bruiser.

If you want facts to back that up /tell me sometimes it's almost 5am i cba typing it all out now.
