Question about strikethrough on myth

Ok i have been told 2 different things about strikethrough position for it to land the best, some say behind some say in front... Any idea which is correct?

You only get Strikethrough chance when an opponent Parries, Ripostes, Blocks, Deflects, or Shield Bashes(not in game yet) your attack. Since all of those except Parry and Deflection are frontal, you will only get the benefit while in front of the mob. On most mobs Parry is also frontal only, however if the mob Deflects, it will have 360 Parry as well.

Which chat option ingame lets you see the message about it? i use to see it and when i rebuild my pc and reinstalled eq2 i cant see it now.

And when i do a breakdown in ACT, is there a way to see how often it lands?

Yea combat used to work for me when I was monk. And as cal said strikethrough will only effect brawler mobs from behind otherwise it is only going to help you for tanking/frontal.
