Well my logs are gone so I cant pull up his parses like I promised, but regardless his zw's were over 8k (ya ya i know without proof /fail, you'll just have to take my word for it).

ps blanka didnt post parses in rok because he was banned, not because your parses owned him.

I m curious about how sony treats monks like shit though. You all say Blanka blows, and he does 15,500 on that trash. Imagine a good player on a monk. Following Traxor's logic he would be doing 18k easily, 4k more then i could put up (im guard btw). Seems to me that the monk class is actually in pretty fair shape. Even a retard like Blanka can (and has) tanked 98% of the game. So monks can tank and monks can dps, is the issue the needed amount of gear needed to perform?

You should be smart enough to understand that parse in raid is more than gear of individual player. The group setup and how well geared and skill of each group member also play important roles in parse.

For dps of monk vs guardian:

If my comprehension is correct, your parse on palace trash is 14k (4k less than 18k).

So blanka only did 1.5k more than you as a guardian. Is it correct?

For tanking, any fully geared fighter can tank any raid target in this game. It's not a secret. Why are you so surprised? The issue is how to get gear instead of tanking with avatar gear/6 class set +.

Look at TSO top end hardcore guilds. Most of them have 1 brawler in RoK but zero brawler in TSO. Their brawlers were asked to play SK or other classes if they want to keep their slot in raids. Not every guild can allow a monk to sit out of 90% raid and still be able to bid for gear.

Well Blanka doesn't sit very many raids, even when our raids were full he was typically in. I can live with your opinions, I was just curious what your take was on it. IF G comes back full time we'll be running 2 brawlers though!!

You said his dps would be 2k-2.5k higher than you as a guardian, most defensive fighter after 9 months of TSO. (Both of you are fully geared).

In Jan, you have posted a parse with 9.6k zw on palace trash and blanka did 8.2k. Until March, he could finally parse 9.9k on palace trash.

Even his group was worse than you, you can't deny that monk dps was very close to other fighters even guardian until monk gets 6 set with extra 8 melee bonus and avatar gear.

Even your guild were raiding 7 days a week, it still took blanka 4-5 months to get enough gear to out parse a guardian.

The problem of monk vs plate tanks in dps is that we didn't have any innate dps advantage in raids. In TSO, the major dps difference of monk and other plate tanks comes from gear, not class itself.

Last, for most raid leaders, who give a shit if monk can out parse other fighters or not? The role of fighters in raid is tanking, not dps. Any dps class is better than monk in dps role. No wonder it's so hard for brawlers to find a raiding guild nowadays.

Makes sense, that 9.6 was with a board too i belive. I understand what you're gettin at though, as he couldnt tank shit either till he got a bigger % of gear then I had to get. Geared monks are beasts though!
