Note: I took my Mythical off so that the mitigation values would show true.

A few initial comments:

1. With boosts to the various pieces, I believe each piece is now at least a little bit better than the VP gear for DPS purposes.
2. The 4 piece set bonus is still a complete joke. (Although, can anyone comment on the actual mechanic of the "additional deflection chance"?)
3. The 5 piece set bonus is at least better than nerve pinch. Still pretty underwhelming though.
4. We remain at 3 Melee Crit Bonus for the whole set, and that's on the Gi, which even most raiding monks will never see. Should be on the shoulders, or replace the 4 piece bonus with ~+7 MCB.
5. The haste on the gloves MUST GO. Replace it with something that will actually boost our DPS, please.

Pfft. My original comment stands, then. Complete joke for a four piece set. Heal is already overstacked on recast time reducers.

The 6 Piece offensive stance bonus is 8 to melee crit bonus
among other things so the set would give 11 melee crit bonus
if you happened to have all 7 pieces.

4 piece heal bonus is pretty much a waste.

And 500 hp is what 3-4% boost to most monks
hp in this gear allready thats pretty weak for a
5 piece bonus.

They really need to put that five rings bonus on lets say.... PANTS.

Wizards get their glory Bolt of Ice pants. Fuck that shitty AE that you should NOT be casting period. Put Five rings bonus on pants and up your parse by 400+ easy. (not sure with the change in crit bonus vs max end crit and damage output with the extra hit in aa's and increased ca damage this expansion.)

you could be looking at 2.8-2.9k inital 2.5x5 with a good crit . which is a huge ass spike on a fast recast.

EDIT: Yes, People use that ae on like lets say

1. Rushing in on a large group.
2. Adds spawn and yo want to catch them on you.
3. 4+ mobs are alive.

Most guilds actually ae dps should make fights too short for this to do much and even with the aa+ pants. you are looking at a possible low crit of 2k. and its cast time is stupid.

With aa and the pants the casting time is 0.91 secs, it is entirely possible to use it between auto attacks. It also makes procs happen which are pretty much the thing making us dps these days. You should really actually play before you comment on shit.

EDIT: Seeing how our average hit is 1600-1700 having this one which hits around 2k will bring up your parse some.

Yes i know it might crit for 2k. and it might proc something , hell it might proc 2 things for 1k. and add the 2k.

You have kicks that crit for over 5k that aren't trouble at all to time and that don't require aa's.

And for blanka.

The game hasn't changed. they didnt add aa's or levels that changed the mechanics of casting order. The game is still very easy. you hit buttons. You sir hit the wrong buttons. You hit the buttons that do the most damage that with recast reduction are always up. The rest is gear, timing, and a knowing of when your ca's are going to be up. I never , ever had all my ca's be down. Simple spam five rings and make sure you hit your big shit in order so it comes back up at the same time. Know how long the fight will last.
