Re: win
We've been trying to work our raiding monk into more raid MT scenerios. He's an excellent player and tank.
A monk raid MTing takes a bit of adjustment - I think the biggest problem we've run into is hate management and getting people used to the difference between an SK vs. a Monk.
As it is, though, he's tanked Labs easily with under 3 groups - 15 people the one round. He's in offensive stance throughout most of the - if not the whole - raid. We run into one mob in there that is a hassle, and it's not Vyemm. Other zones will be some trouble - but, I think it is more 'adjustment' than "impossible." Particularily as most of our raid force is new to the guild and raiding with us, and we haven't quite "gelled" yet.
Atm, I'm going to suggest it is a mistake to confuse versitility for mediocrity. Not being specialized in one particular area is not a handicap - it's, IMO, a freedom. We can make ourselves useful in a hundred different ways. Someone who doesn't know how much brawlers make things easier has missed out. We have so many tricks up our sleeves that make us valuable as utility, dps, and as tanks. Good stuff!!
