Oh i forgot to add , the damage from the Jewel of Animosity used to be warded by external calm. Yeah I took advantage of that. But if your mental resists were up you took 0 mitigated. Sweet times

Part of the issue you maybe having is the way avoidence works, unlike mit, I do believe in order to avoidence a hit, there are 3 seperate RNG checks, base, def, parry, but each roll is fairly low. Part of the reason why avoidence tanking always has spike damage along with our lower mit.

anyways, what is it i have done wrong? why do i get hit more than i avoid?

i love this class but this is confusing to me, pls help
Even con mobs should not be hitting you more than you avoid if your avoidance is 78%... you should actually be avoiding 78% of the hits, if the mob is indeed white that you are fighting.

Are you SURE you are getting hit more often than you are avoiding hits? can you post an avoidance report from ACT? Or do you think it's possible that you are incorrect? Keep in mind that if you are fighting mobs that are spellcasters, your avoidance isn't going to give you any benefit against their spells, so that could be one thing that makes it "feel" like your not avoiding as much.
