I think its total bullshit how at AD3 its a 96% success rate, and at master its 97% yet any fucking place you go it will fail over and over at an alarming much higher rate.

I chose a monk because of the ability to use that skill as I enjoy solo very much, but with it as jacked up and broken as it is, I should have chosen a different fighter class and just do more group encounters.

Im wondering if anyone else has been experiencing this same bullshit of multiple failed FD's in a row, or noticed a much higher increase of fails?

You fail at trolling.

Hit FD 1000 times in a row and record the failures and then complain. FD only SEEMS like it fails alot because when it fails and you die... you remember it more vividly.

He may fail at trolling but i totally notice way more FD fails than i should (God damn fucking i hate that BS with Tythus where i gotta fucking Agro/FD it over and over while slow fucking people run up the stairs), but i don't have any 'evidence' regarding it one way or the other. I just usually bitch on vent about how 97% seems to be more like 80 on epics.

... lol i do say fuck you to the raid, matter of fact the other day i was leading the raid, saying fuck you to a lot of people, calling other peoples mothers Cunts and all kinds of things. Something tells me besides the lulz some people probably got at my snapping occasionally, i wont be leading too many raids for fear of alienating people.

Um it has nothing to do w forum leader. He is a brawler w the SAME exact spell and he is right. This conversation has been brought up before and people have tested it. The feign dead spell is close to what it says.

I've been hitting Feign Death since before LU 1. I've ben feigning since before FD ever had a chance of failing. You used to have to type /feign, and it woudl tell you your "FD Number", and then told you your target's "FD Number", and of your FD number was higher than theirs, they would think you were dead. Anyhow, I think I'm qualified to talk about FD, regardless of whatever my forum title is.

Like I said, test it yourself with 1000 consecutive FDs. You will find the numbers are very accurate. The reason the fail percentage is so high is because nobody remembers successes. If you FD twenty times, and fail once, you are going to remember the failure far more clearly than any of the successes.

Under what circumstances is it failing? Running thru zones farming shineys and training mobs where you FD 50 times in a 15-20 min span yes you may get the impression it fails to often because the law of averages can bite you in the ass either way. With allot of
fails or none.

Now I don't know if each separate encounter makes a check on your FD if there agroed or mob level makes a difference. Probably not since you can FD in your house and get the "you have fallen to the ground" message but who knows with Sony.

FD used to make separate checks against mobs back in T5. Now it's just a flat pass or fail roll.
