Soloing
Leveling
Heroic zone tanking.
(edit) Mentoring Leveling up alts and friends!
Dueling. . .
Crafting (80 Alchemist 400 tinkerer)
Gathering Shinnies
Self ward absorbing mana drain/ some AoE's

Hate
Raid tanking makes you feel like, even though you could be amazing. . . It doesn't show. If your able to do it. Gratz . . . Grab a rogue its about he same aside from some single target snamps.
DPS CA's account for less then 50% of your damage. Yes you shouldn't interrupt your auto attack . . . So blowing kisses at the mob during downtime makes you feel awesome.
Target lock immune mobs/ Every class has target lock now.
Avoidance in general
Not having anything that's class specific IE) ((Deathmarch, Reinforcment, Gibe, Holy ground, Sacrament, Stone Shphere, etc*i know im missing a lot*))
I know we have Tsunami so do ~ (( Guardians, Zerkers, Shadow-knights, Bruisers)) and crusaders get devine ora which is technically a duration damage immunity that doesn't work against epics( above 50% damage)

*Can explore zones even epic ones
*Our Raidwide is still useful
*Avoidance buff on other tanks
*We attack through disarm damage shields
*Emergency saves that can stabilize a raid fu... up
allowing recovery
*Survivability

Negatives

*To gear dependent
*Way to hard to tank top end content
its possible but it takes 2x the work from
you and your healers
*Avoidance broken because of strikethrough
*Left over raid spot toon
*It doesn't matter how well you play your toon
98% of the community wont want you for group/raid
*Raid tanking has become deathsave and mit dependent
be it raw mit or damage reduction we severely lack both of those
*Not enough utility since we are no where near the best choice
for a dps slot or tank slot
*Zero fooking AE control, in an AE dependent expansion
*No AE damage option at all in AA lines, sure we have
twirl and flock but they do damage at a T5 level.
*CA damage by far the worst in game

• tank heroic zones in offense stance (most of them anyways)

Dislikes

• Last pick basically for raid positions
• ae's suck
• As most said, avoidence bc of Strikethrough
• Monks are underestimated by alot of people
• single target tank...hard to keep 2+ unless you switch target every 2 seconds to dps to keep aggro!
• Guilds dont even want you for OT or DPS if the spot is open. There are some guilds that rejected me as DPS (their loss though) and took a shitty mage. Also just because a bruiser is in the guild, a monk cant be
  
• Hate how most brawlers tank a heroic zone and we wipe once to something like trash lets say, and others dont give them a chance and just /disband /lfg again....its stupid, people dont want to work with brawlers on anything and this is one reason why we get treated like shit because we arent tough shit like plate. Its simple as anyone saying something and stepping up, ie. lets say the healer has a couple different healing patterns, (s)he tries the first one and fails at it, the healer speaks up saying "Hey, sorry about that, lets try again, i have a different healing pattern that might keep us alive". ~group resume and finishes zone~

What they did to our avoidance
The fact that Sony over looks us but gives gentle loving to the dirges and rough loving to the guardians.

Pallies get the best raidbuff in the game. Too little too late tbh, The mechanic changes helped. but still <<

Edit: Dont worry~ Monks still will be better then wizards in battlegrounds so when my wiz has max aa and all the shinnies he could ever want. PvP would be fun. I see where you are coming from flu.
