whats better for monks... pie or waffles... on a side note which is "better" 2 high delay DW or a 2hnd?

Depends on the 2hnd and the DW. If you're talking about the 2.5 delay DW offa Mayong and Avatar of Tranquility vs the bo staff off Avatar of Fear. I'd say DW for everything but craneflock then switch back to DW.

2.5 second causes a lot of procs and very heavy hitting critical hits. The 2hander would be more beneficial if you were using Illusory Arm or had some sort of heavy DPS buffing group as a monk.

I'd say dual wield unless you have vraksakin club or one of those 2handers from the avatars.

I'm using the same 2 weps and the only time I would really change them would be if i got a really wide damage spread 2h. Vrak or the ones off the avatars (which are hawt)

So far from my experiance of taking 2 handers just for the collection of them..DW is generally better. The delay of a 2hander and the range of damage is not worth it. Can hit for the same dmg as a DW sometimes and be stuck with that long ass delay..

Edit: I find using Combine War Sachel with the DT shealth ammo does more dmg than a 2 hander....

haha yeah the only time i use a 2h over DW is when im in a group that buffs DPS mod too the max, gives me a large ammount of str, and theres a huge ammount of mit debuffed vs crushing. otherwise DW does at LEAST the same dps if not more because of hit % rate (loose less too a DW swing cuz the hit is smaller if it misses), plus i get at least 1 nice proc (if i use greater twin + bashing or greater twin + SoD)

until some decent 2h fabled drops off named besides avatars and bosses of tough raid zones its not much of a debate for the raiding monks. stats and proc's off 2 nice fabled or another year swingin the AoA stick? Fer now i'll stick to DW and beg fer buffage
