A lot of you wont care, and flame me for being a WoW fag, which is totally fair.

Everyone else, hear me out. I dont want this to become a WoW vs EQ2 debate so just let it be known I think EQ2 is a much deeper, and better game, but what the developers are doing with it is what makes it shit.

Anyway, im excited that the game I play in addition to EQ2 finally has my favorite class. Are any of you going to play? Why or why not? Fuck the pandas, though. Night Elf or Undead monk all the way...

TBH, the only class I really play in MMO's is Monk or something as close to it as possible. (Was the first character I ever rolled in EQ1) And I think that one of the reasons why I didn't last in WoW was because, imo, there wasn't anything like a Monk. I'll prolly check this out.

However, from the footage Blizzard has shown thus far, their monks are going to be based off the childish "Kung Fu Panda" style monk (note, I have nothing against the movie Kung Fu Panda, I just don't relish the idea of my entire class being based around that style).

Right, which is why i'm not going to be a panda. If you look at the history of classes through other races, they typically have different animations for what they do. I'm assuming this will be the case for monk abilities too. I'm hoping the panda race is the only one that's going to kung-fu on a full stomach, jack black style.

Also as a side note, Blizzard has gone from the invasion of a legion of demons and their evil Titan overlord (Burning Crusade) to the reawakening of the king of the scourge (Wrath of the Lich King) to the near destruction of the entire planet and the rise of an evil Aspect...to a hidden island of pandas? Really? That's all Blizzard has left? I don't know about you, but I sense the final stages of WoW's life.

WoW will be around for a long time. As long as their expansions continue to be quality, fun expansions. EQ1 is still around.....

Yeah Buff I will likely try all of them, I love that they can be all 3 roles like druids/pal's.

Drunken Master tank spec though? Sounds kinda goofy.
