Not a joke, more like frustrated sarcasm. I wasnt accepted to 2 guilds now because I didnt meet parse expectations. When I was told to spam wards and do nothing else I could top the parse. I just cant do that all the time in good conscience, because I know how important debuffs are.

A guild that doesn't take into consideration that they can't see debuffs on parses, and the one of the biggest jobs we have is to keep the mob debuffed. I would say any raiding guild that takes parses to heart is not doing a good job of raiding, if dps is fighting for a parse number, I question how many of them are doing any debuffing. A fully debuffed mob is much easier to take down.

ouch..You know that is something people don't consider. If your offtank or group is alive then we should be doing our debuffs and some dps. They might see the dps but dont see the debuffs. One thing I have done, when taking a parse in consideration, pertaining to a applicant or current guild member who "seems" to be slacking is configure my parse to show me number of casts. If I see that they are casting like mad a simple conversation to confirm what they are casting (if they are healing and spamming and suck it up that is another story) can confirm that person is "trying" to contribute.

I have always dreamed of a system that shows debuffs. Any raid/shaman that doesn't realize they are damage preventors..

Its not hard to parse 1k on trash mobs while keeping wards and debuffs up, remember, you don't need to cast anything besides eidolon and wail(scream?) of the ancients on trash (or lethargy if its a big group, umbral trap too)
