Or whatever its called. I'm not in game, but I'm talking about the lvl 35 debuff, I think it was an ancient teachings spell.

The main question is, will this be upgraded in RoK? The master dropped for a guildie the other night and I sweet talked her out of it. She got a discovery notice for it, so I have the only one on the server at least (I don't really know how to check if its was a WW discovery).

What was this thing worth? I might feel kinda bad if it was a 50 plat master or something like that.

I'm also wondering if this spell gets resisted an inordinate amount of time because its lvl 35. Seems silly if it is resisted like a true lvl 35 spell. My main is an assassin, and I know his ancient teachings spell will not be upgraded (heard it directly from a dev), but there is no chance for concealment to be resisted, so it doesn't need an upgrade.

Oh and if anyone is wondering, it dropped off of a lvl 35 non-heroic kobold in steamfront mountains (I think, it mighta been BB). I don't really subscribe to the theory that certain mobs drop particular masters, but I know some of you do ... so have at em.

its very effective when coupled with all of our other debuffs. Rumor has it, it will be upgraded. I wouldn't begin to assume anything, but since it was just revamped it must be on the minds of someone in the SOE camp..

it will not be upgraded.
If there were upgrading it, there would already be a lvl 53 upgrade for it, as of a couple of updates ago when they released upgrades for several bloodlines spells, and those that were upgraded, will also be getting new upgrades at 71 as well.

However, several Bloodlines spells didn't not get upgrades, and wont be.

They are spells that act as percentage type spells (ie scale will level in essense).

Examples are: Predators and Rogues got a 1 min self DPS or self Haste buff. These wont ever get upgraded.

Umbral Trap is a DPS and Haste debuff, which is considered percentage based by sony's logic (which it really is, 20 attack speed debuff is 20% at lvl 1 or lvl 100).

They only side upgrade they made for it, was it is now an encounter debuff instead of single target.

The level, and quality, of the spell got nothing to do with resistability. Other then that, ewww, need to find a lvl 35 master.
