I haven't been DPSing since release of RoK for the most part in raids until the other night when I decided to try it on again in Kor'Sha. About a 2400 average on trash (I put heal gear back on and had 0.0 for named). But I hit 3020 on one of the Golems!!!

I haven't bid on a single piece of healing gear in RoK yet, and all my new DPS gear is from instances with a lot of STR gear from EoF including some Avatar pieces. Made me happy to break 3K though.

Yeah with my Hammer now (and a halfway decent group) i can crack 2k easy now (I think my personal highest was around 2300), but there are certain fights i cant DPS at all on (of course) and some only half assed because of other stuff im doing (healing/debuffing, not using power during a fight much etc)

like sharp says gear is huge for dps for us but i can't really think of any contested gear that really helps us when i played i didn't use any contested gear for dps and could get over 2k quite often i am just glad to hear that mystics are still doing good dps so if i desiede to come back i won't be bored

Having a good parse night like that makes me able to bear the nights where I'm spamming Wards and heals in VP. Yeah.... I know I'm a healer but I guess I got spoiled with the ability to do DPS and make the class a little more enjoyable.

If I even decide to not be cheap and buy a stupid overpriced shard I'll get a respec mirror and most likely go full Healing/Rez lines for raids.
