the hidden vale is an instance in Antonica (same clickable rock as the shattering vale)

Inside theres some iksar and roaming spirits you gonna have to kill 6 spirits called: "a darkened spirit"

I used invis totem to get past the iksar and started killing.

After you have killed 6 spirits the journal says find more clues. Click the altar in the middle of the druid ring and investigate the altar. You will get a message that you can't destroy it.

Journal at that point says return to Takk.

Go back to Graystone Yard and talk with Takk
he will give you a new quest.

Takk gives three seperate quests:

a sleeping stone: Dark enlightenment

a sleeping stone: Restoring Valor

a sleeping stone: Great beast

2 of the altars, - were found

Everfrost: right side of the map just past the ice cave next to a tree

Feerrott: loc -609, -2, 158

The altars look like the one in Hidden Vale and zone you into a spiritual pocket where you talk to the spirit.

Rel'dekk has yet to be found.

I didn't have time to go to both altars but the spirit in EF tells you to go find a book somewhere on Kunark that's written in the language of the dead (pretty sure about the language).

if you guys want to just copy and paste the steps together and create one post. then i will delete all the others in between and trim down this thread to keep it clutter free. I will have to start working on my epic soon, but it hard to find time between school and work lol

There is a tome that contains the writings of an ancient sage, a man who studied forbidden knowledge and secrets. This tome contained a particular ritual that the man only attempted one time before he was thwarted by a self-sacrificing hero. It is this tome that you seek.

What should I do with it once I find it?

You must understand the nature of the threat that faced us. You must search for the book and study it. Learn what it has to teach, so that you might better prepare for the trials ahead of you.

Where should I search for the tome?

The book has since disappeared since it last surfaced back in the Age of Turmoil. From what is known to us, it somehow found its way to Kunark, and might be in the possession of one of the races there, but I cannt say where.

So I must search within Kunark to find the book?

I cannot be more specific that that, but an adventurer in the Age of Turmoil found it and carried it with them. They did not know what it was they carried, since it was written in the language of the dead, and they likely could not have read such a language. But it was lost somewhere on the continent, and you must find it there.

Personally found my Earthvine at 674, -71, 329 in jungle ( far from city of myst ).

Anyone got info on the book? that step is a pain

Maybe you have to have that language completed to "see" the item we are looking for. It is the Whispers of Death quest w/ bone tablets.

If you haven't completed that quest and have been looking in good areas, it might have been in vain.
