Re: Mystic Epic Walkthrough
Yes I got the language. I've been mostly looking in towns since at some point the npc say "and might be in the possession of one of the races there". Maybe should check chardok next.

Re: Mystic Epic Walkthrough
Tome can be found in the pit before the last named of VoES, Spam your level chats to get into an empty instance, cheers guys!
Edit::
You must have "Death's Whisper" from the silent city mobs to interpret the book.

Re: Mystic Epic Walkthrough
Thanks Woodelfe
Quote:
The tome is too large to move, and as heavy as stone. However, there is a tattered note folded in the flap of the book, written in a strange language. Writings of Sellok - Antonica, The Age of Turmoil.
...and he nearly succeeded. Had he finished creating the Mantle, there would have been seemingly no limit to his power, allowing him to challenge even the gods themselves. Such power would be desired by any mortal, and it is little wonder that 'higher' beings stepped in to thwart his plan.
Without this tome, I would not have been able to learn his secret... even then, there are many parts of his research that must have disappeared with him. This gives us the basis of his studies, however, and from here we can begin to fill in the blanks of the knowledge we are missing.
I feel that he missed a true opportunity, however. Why learn to merely wield power like this, when it should be possible to actually become one with it? Imagine how much more powerful one could become if they could truly master the power, making it a part of him? I have every belief that this is possible.
I will continue to research his notes, and the information he left in this tome. If my theory is correct, I will obtain more power than he even dreamed of. I will not challenge the gods. I will become a god, and I will stop at nothing to achieve my goal - to realize my Vision.

Re: Mystic Epic Walkthrough
The spiritwood is in Kylong Plains and seems like everyone had a different location. You can either spam a /tar a branch of spiritwood or use the tinkerer track I found mine in about 2 mins using tinkerer track. After you find the wood it closes quest, you then head back to Graystone yard and speak to Trakk he gives you another quest. Head to Antonica and go to the hidden vale zone from the previous steps, this time zone into the hidden vale. Kill 8 80^^^ spirits and then you kill the last guy which is a 85^^^ Iwent in with me a guard and brig and did it with ease. At about 30% mob wil appear to despawn but it doesnt really. Use the item you got from Trakk and you can then see the mob have everyone lazy assist thru you with auto attack on and just brun it the rest of the way. After he is done equip the weapon you got from trakk right cick the alter and destroy it. Gratz you now have your herioc version of the epic done. If you are in a raiding guild and wish to get the mythical version head back to Graystone Yard and speak to Trakk once again for another quest. This quest involves killing Pawbuster in the t1 raid zone, Venril Sathir in the t2 raid zone, and Hoskar in Veshan's Peak, after you kill all 3 and get your updates head back to Trakk in Graystone Yard and I assume you get you Mythical version of the weapon then.

Re: Mystic Epic Walkthrough
What also helps :
Send your dog in when someone in your group has aggro. that way you know where the mob is moving when you can't see it and your group sees where he is moving when you kite him.
Another neat trick:
Assist through your dog, he is a spirit after all and can always see the mob.
good luck..

Re: Mystic Epic Walkthrough
grats all on epics
Anyone think they will actually use it and why? I might swap it in for CoB if I happen to be in a Scout dps group but i haven't worked out the maths of an un-modified 'chance of a chance' for the group versus the modified GBH proc. Otherwise it looks a worse 1-hander than GBH and Pureblood hammer.
Grats to the 'person' that put +spell damage on a melee class item btw.....
