The same here, I am in the same step, spent more then 12 hours in Jungle and had no luck. Checking all spots, where someone else had more luck then me, running around all the Jungle again and again. My guildmates started to hate me, because I am not in the mood to go instances with them, I have focus only for this little root. I am close to delete this fucking quest, not to step in Jungle anymore, maybe quit the game forever... I am so pissed off, I hate mystic more then ever.
Could someone lucky tell me, how did it look like? Was was the name of it - aerating root cord or piece of earthvine? Any better clue, please, please, please?

OK, finally I found it. Name is "a stalk of eartvine", my place was 671.61, 98.98, -649,51. Big help was gnomish "something" rod - harvesting track, without it I would probably leave EQ2 forever after 4 years. Yes, I know, I am overreacting, but my apologize is, I am a woman in real. Good luck to other mystics, don´t forget the track, it really helps.

I finally found it...and had NO tinkeritem.
mine was at ( 119.76, 92.24, -481.06 )
Ppl who aer not doing it cant see the root...we tried today.
It looks just like the normal roots...and loads of dust aroudn it.
THe dust looks abit like the dust around the scrolls that wizards and warlocks need to collect for their transport-thing.

I was so so so close to not go on with this quest due to this....i would rather have had an epic to kill than this.

I was able to cram a lot of group stuff into a night and I thank everyone that contributed to this thread. A couple of points I discovered:

1.) The Tomb of Valor instance. Everyone in the group needs to be 80. Had a guildmate wait for me and felt bad when it wouldn't let her zone in.

2.) Each of the spiritwrecked mobs' update comes from a chest. Multiple Mystics trying to save time will each have to kill the mob. The good news is that they are either on a very short respawn or are proximity spawns.

Same deal with the Mythical Updates... they are body drops. If you have more than one Mystic ready to update that quest, one gets the bone till next raid. Shitty when most other classes are auto updates and can both progress with no cock blocking.

The one off venril and the one off pawbuster were in their respective chests. Haven't been to hoshkar yet. As I am the only mystic in my guild I can't confirm/deny the rest.

My mistake. My main point is that there is only one update per kill. Whether it came off of the body or the chest is irrelevant.
