Mystics unite petition to have the epic graphic changed.

Hello Mystics.
i have spent a couple days looking at the graphic and hearing how many others in the global mystic channel are hating the look of the epic.
Well I figured instead of complaning we should do something about it.
so here is my attempt

Formal petition from the Mystic community to change the appearance of the Epic

Please visit the EQ forums and post a quick I agree please change the appearnace of the epic post on the website and see if we manage to get a developer to care. Hopefully since this is not an issue with stats they may actually listen.

should be petitioning to have the items abilities tuned to fit our role first.

Whilst I agree, and have added my support on the EQ2 forum, I DO believe this to be a waste of energy. Where is your precedent for SOE ever having bowed to consumer demand and changed an in-game item?

I only use this on the fights I need for mythical updates atm. (Yeah that's 3.)

Anyway my guild has come to lovingly refer to it as "Poo-on-a-stick (patent pending)".

You can't debate taste but I kind of like the look of our epic.
Other then that who cares about looks. Its the stats and procs that should be looked at.

God how could they hurt us more then doing Beneficial spells to increase our group dps. I really hope they reconsider and remove the +spell damage and change Tribal rage to proc on anything we cast hostile/beneficial and CA

... hmm maybe Wisdom line becomes a valid aa choice .. will have to try that soonish.

Are you high? most healers have +heals we have +heals equal to theirs AND +spell dmg, so who really cares. and our procc is incredible. seriously if you are healing your grp that thing is up all the time, not to mention our mythical is hands down the best healer epic in game. spirit tap is godly, and the increase ward is insane. i am perfectly fine with our epic atm and the only thing we can expect is nerf imo

Look i dont have the Epic or its mythical counterpart but i was looking at both and i gotta say i agree with most, the +Spell Damage is rediculas, + Disruption or whatever doesnt seem special to me, the +125 Heal is AWESOME and +30% to wards is AMAZING, but i still say the proc only working on heals or whatever is dumb because if i'm healing a bunch chances are either we've peeled (and that means the group is doing TOO MUCH dps already) or we've been AOE'ed (in which case my healing lasts only till the group is back up, then im back to debuffing and dpsing).

hmm i'm surprised there are still any mystics around to protest against bad epic design. At least it's spiky enough to be troublesome for the designers once put into their asses
