DPS Help

I am trying to find if there is a way to increase my dps. Right now I can consistently hit about 1500 with the rare peak of 2k. I use either Grim Brimstone Hammer, fabled Epic, or Mace of the Everlasting as my weapon. As for spells (CAs) I cast my dots, then ae, then use the rest of my ST ones. I give time between every 2 so that I can auto attack. Currently have 12 dps, 46 haste and 16%(more depending on weapon) DA before group and raid buffs. On a normal raid I get about 44 dps and 160+ haste. I do know that dps depends on a couple things like Rage proc.

AAs are spec for str 4-4-8-6-1 agi 4-4-8-6-1 sta 4-4-8-5 and all combat, most of all aug (not sow and OO) and then the rest in rezzing.

Any help that can be offered on how to parse more around 2k or maybe even 3k would be nice. Thanks.

We only have a few CAs, they fast-cast, and we all have them at the same quality, so despite what people l33t talk about, there isn't much more:

- Get daft gear and focus on +str (once you get past 900 STR though it becomes pretty irrelevant), +DA, +CA and attack proc gear - use a macro to switch most for nameds etc
- Get a perfect group.. ZK, Dirge, Illu, Monk, Inq etc all help - but once haste is over 100 it makes less and less difference
- Use a large slow stick with a big damage spread - 2 hander from Paw or Twins if you aren't into VP
- you already have a legendary neck dps adorn i guess - there is a belt haste that is ok - otherwise you end up having to get fabled +CA ones - that seems overkill though on a heal
- to get really high parses you need raidwide dps to be far higher

No need to leave a gap between CAs as Eq2 will autoattack between them anyway. Rangers etc time autoattacks as they have longer cast times

Then remember you are a healer after all..... unless the zone is on farm status and you can dps all the time your ZW will always be low - be happy or roll an assassin.

just think like a scout for gear choices.

Get the best haste item you can find.
Use mastercrafted haste and dps rings and get the cloak of valor.

Since you have 100% crit get as much double attack and +ca gear as you can.

beg to be in group with a dirge and berserker. Make sure people in group are giving you spare melee procs and try to get ancestry to boost your proc rate for all those nifty buffs and dmgs!

even though you're not specced STR make sure you still use your dog for dps it adds a fair bit. I find even without ae immunity he still doesn't die very much if you just make sure to put him behind the mob.

I usually parse between 2-3k, I still need dps gear for neck, wrist, earrings and charms and none of my dps gear is adorned. So still alot of improvement to be made. Then I should get 3-4k consistently.

I've always (And always will) loved 2 Handers, whether it be a staff or a spear for DPS.

Since I got this cool new off hand item that procs these little winged things that heal the crap outta people near me I'm looking to replace my Epic (In groups/solo and trash clearing raid) with the best 1 Hander I can get...

Any suggestions? I've never looked for 1 handed weapons before.
